As an American tourist in Scotland, I had never heard of Toby Carvery, but I am no stranger to decently priced buffet food. What sets this place apart from other restaurants is the staff. They are friendly and considerate. Linzi in particular went out of her way to assist my wife, who is allergic to gluten, in selecting safe foods for her to eat, and to help her feel like she wasn’t an inconvenience. This might seem like an odd thing to say, but I promise you it’s a huge deal, so thank you Linzi. Now, I did find the food a little bland for my liking, but it was hot and filling, and carving staff never made any of us in my tour group of 32 feel like we weren’t just as important as the family of 4 who visit once a week. It was a fun meal experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Always enjoy it here .I'm gluten free but always manage to have a choice. Chicken pollo mango is my favourite.

Staff are amazing. Costa coffee is phenomenal. They offer a wide variety of dairy alternatives. Recently started to seek m&s Gluten free sandwiches whoooo. There are a few Gluten free tray bakes individually wrapped. Such creative decor and such wonderful light. Above tesco.

Great little eatery, had a breakfast , which was brilliant. Even had gluten free bread and soya milk available. Service was excellent too.
