Joanna's tea room - I thoroughly recommend! We were a group of 8 and had the afternoon tea, which was one of the best I have had anywhere! The variety of sandwiches and cakeswas wonderful. The sandwhiches were extremely tasty and generous with their fillings. The cakes were fantastic! I particularly loved their cheese straws ( to die for!) , the mini scones, divine lemon posset and the cinammon cream cake was absolutely scrumptious too! I had the gluten free version of the afternoon tea and it was truly excellent. The tea room handled our group's order admirably and with no fuss at all, as we had one ( me) with food allergies, a pescatarian and one person who loathes cheese. Book in advance and discuss with staff. They are really helpful and make every effort to prepare for you. The decor is lovely and relaxing and it's worth mentioning that unlike some tea rooms, the chairs are extremely comfortable: they are supportive and padded, ideal if you have any in your group who can become uncomfortable or have bad backs or joints etc. This tea room is an absolute gem, I throughly recommend!!

Wow! We were passing through Storrington and feeling peckish. After a quick Google, we decided to give Vintage Rose Tea Room a try. WE WILL BE BACK! Prices are to be as expected, but we were blown away by the size and quality of what we ordered. Children 8 & 10 tucked into a jacket potato (leaving the salad and coleslaw for us to finish unsurprisingly). Much to our delight, as both were delicious in themselves and beyond the side salad, you would expect to accompany a jacket potato. We were ourselves, however, being purely glutenous in finishing their sides, as both our sandwiches exceeded expectations. We had a BLT and chicken, bacon, advacado (on staff recommendation), and they were fantastic, well filled with quality ingredients and their own accompanying salad and crisps. Loose leaf tea in a pot and china tea cup & a mocha with a foamy top and real chocolate shavings 😍😋👌 All in all a lovely, little traditional tea rooms. Friendly staff, quality food and drink and cosy atmosphere. Thank you, a real gem!

Small cafe but can accommodate approx 20 people (crowded). We were there Saturday so expected a delay but service was slow. We had coffee and a bacon sandwich each. Good news, I had gluten free bread which was very tasty. The bacon was crispy and rather salty. Coffee was good. It's on the main road so had traffic noise. Close to the main car park which is useful.

River Moon did a fantastic job catering for our wedding of 50 people at a nearby venue! They were very professional in helping us choose dishes that would suit our guests' many dietary requirements (Gluten free, vegetarian, allergies) and in providing the food in lovely chafing dishes. They even went out of their way to make our evening special by hiring outside crockery & cutlery which they later washed up and returned for us so we didn't have to worry about the dishes on the day. The staff was endlessly helpful and friendly - the whole family seemed involved and engaged in the business and everyone we interacted was forthcoming and kind. The food was an absolute delight - the grilled king prawns and prawn tempura blew away all our guests and their curries and noodle dishes were delicious - guests went back for seconds and thirds! I look forward to eating at River Moon again very soon.
