I cant believe I had never been to Flat Iron before. What a meal! Not overpriced at all, and delicious. I have gluten and dairy allergies and Taylor was amazing and very patient explaining the options I had. Everyone working there had the nicest attitude.
Gorgeous restaurant to go with amazing food. I had the 8 Hour Beef & Ukrainian Porcini Bolognese, Hand Cut Pappardelle, Parmesan. What a dish! I couldn't even finish it but it was so tasty. My boyfriend had gluten free pasta with tomato sauce and he cleaned the plate. We would definitely come back again.
I am gluten intolerant. I informed the staff, they assured me my meal was gluten free. It was not. I became ill. Thanks Mildred.
Avoid this place if you have food allergies, they do not appear to take them into account at all.
Great dinner! Our waiter Artur was wonderful! He was very attentive & very knowledgeable about what could be made gluten free (almost everything). Food was excellent!
We had a great experience, and enjoyed the fish and chips! Nick was a great server, and their fish and chips were gluten free! Would definitely come back!
Visited for lunch and had a good experience overall. Ordered baba ghanoj and hummus dips, falafel and roasted cauliflower mezzes, and larger plates of shish tawook and lamb skewers.
The dips were fresh and the falafel was well made. The roasted cauliflower was overcooked for my taste, too soft and lacking bite, though my partner enjoyed the texture. The lamb skewers were great quality; however, the sweet potato mash on the side felt out of place and I thought the seasoning of it did not complement the lamb.
The shish tawook was decent. The chicken was tender with a nice char without being burnt, but the side potatoes were unremarkable and the harissa mayo was overly mayo-forward. The dish felt a little disjointed.
A big positive was how well they catered to gluten intolerance, offering gluten-free pita, and beer, which was great to see. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed - great space.
This restaurant is bigger than you think. Service was very good..food as lovely as always. Went for a pre-theatre meal. Made sure to get there earlier as you can't book a table. Good that our party could have vegan..gluten free..children and normal menu
The Elizabeth line was closed, the central line was running, but with huge delays. And when we finally fought our way out of Oxford Circus tube station, the Christmas shopping crowds were packed along Regents Street.
Thank goodness once we arrived at Mountain things improved. We were seated immediately and all of the staff who served us were relaxed and friendly. They knew exactly how to deal with my Coeliac disease, marking the menu with dishes I could and couldn't have and the ones they could alter for me so that I could enjoy them.
And the food was delicious, stand outs were the raw scallops and monkfish and the spider crab omelette. I had a negroni and we shared a bottle of Spanish white wine.
Sadly the journey home was just as bad. A shame, but it hasn't put us off the idea of returning. The food is that good!
Booked a meal for my boyfriend’s birthday, unfortunately we were put in a room out the back with a service bell to order. It took a while to order food and drinks as a result. However, the food was amazing and we had 100% gluten free (I ate here as a coeliac and had no problems).
Went in during rush hour and can absolutely say the service was amazing as always and all staff are super friendly. I’d like to give a special thanks to Bea who served me and walked me through my order given my gluten intolerance.
