The perfect pit stop mid walk, the fires were very welcome to dry off! Had an incredible selection of gluten free options, most of the menu being able to be altered to be GF.

Had friends visiting from the south of the country, and after touring the Peak District needed to find a pub/restaurant with a gluten free option. Upon investigation the White Hart fit the bill perfectly. On arrival the car park is accessed from a side road, and is quite compact, particularly on a busy evening. If using the car park you must enter your registration on the screen on arrival in the bar area. A good range of beers (Dancing Duck brewery), wines and spirits are available. There are dine-in, and beer garden/patio dining options. The patio area is covered, and has patio heaters. We dined outside (with heater on). The menu had a good variety of tempting dishes, and the gluten free member of our party was given a gluten free adapted menu which was a nice touch. The food was excellent, and the service very good and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was nice and balanced with a good feel to it. Definitely worth a visit.

I've started to use this chippy over the months and now its time for a review. This chippy is fantastic. The fish and chips are first class. The chips and batter is crispy and there are a lot of food choices. Amazingly the owner provides some gluten free options including certain non fried foods which are home made dishes curry, lasagna, etc, they are different each week which, I must say, I've tried and is first class too. If you are gluten intolerant then they offer gluten free batter for your fish noting that its still fried in the same oil as the non gluten fish batter at the moment (that suits me though, no issues at all). All-in-all a brilliant chippy and I hope this business flourishes.
