Nice location, unpretentious, very kind staff.
The best pizza I've ever eaten, the gluten-free one and (although with the possibility of contamination) in the kitchen they only knead with rice flour and the recipe for the pizza is theirs, so they pay attention (the only place in Ischia that knows that we celiacs exist).
If we return to Naples we will take a ferry to Ischia just to eat at Raffaele.
Great option if you are on holiday in Ischia and want to treat yourself to a dinner/lunch out!
I recommend it to all celiacs....the whole menu can also be made gluten-free!! A definite note of merit: the gluten-free fried food! A dish that we can rarely indulge in at the restaurant!
The very efficient service: in an hour we sat down and ate...there are no downtimes.
*Be very careful if you have allergies!!* I came here 2 years ago and ordered a gluten-free, lactose-free pizza which was great and came back today and ordered the same. I asked the waiter, *3 times*, in Italian, to please ensure there was no lactose or cheese, as I am allergic (not intolerant). He brought the pizza and I double-checked again, that there was no cheese or lactose. He reassured me there was none.
I took 2 bites... and realised there was cheese. Eek! This is very scary for me as my throat tightens up. When I asked him if there was cheese, he said, 'no, but there is Mozzarella'. When I pointed out that Mozzarella *is* cheese, he said that it wasn't. And so the conversation continued... The motto: BE VERY VERY CAREFUL OF THIS RESTAURANT if you have allergies!!
Shared tbe antipasti starter, which was very filling. Had the low gluten pizza base which was also really nice. The gnocchi dish was very cheesy, even for a cheese lover!
Good restaurant and pizzeria in good location in Ischia port, friendly staff. The food is good, good value for money, even for celiacs only pasta and not pizza. Romantic atmosphere near and facing the sea, I recommend it. We also enjoyed music featuring guitar and voice artist Tony Sigillo who with his very calm music made the evening very pleasant for us. I advise. Average prices.
I have celiac disease and here, they exactly about a gluten free diet. They have many options in the menu that are gluten free, and also gluten free pasta and bread. The owner answered all my questions and gave recommendations of what to eat. Recommended if you’re in Ischia.
Recommended for the pizza but really satisfied with the fish. We also managed to eat with my sister who is gluten and lactose intolerant and many precautions were taken. Fair price for the area and really high quality of fish. I really recommend it
Great restaurant! A team that works as a family for our greatest pleasure :) Between their kindness, the very reasonable prices and the excellent food (they even offer gluten-free pasta options!), I can only recommend this address for lunch or a dinner along the sea. 10/10.
If you are gluten free / senza glutine , this place is unbelievable . Beautiful decor , most of the menu can be made gf as well as gf bread. Had pistachio crusted prawn and pasta with clams and both were impeccable. Very excited when I saw a pornstar martini on the menu which was perfecto! My non gf husband said the food was amazing too for non celiac diners. Would recommend
