Very helpful and friendly, were able to tell me what options were gluten free, the food was really tasty, for a food court food service I was impressed.
Berth has incredible food, drinks, view and atmosphere, however, the service is what stood out to us the most, especially our Waiter named Tibbs. He ensured to check in on us regularly, gathered empty dishes in a timely manner and surprised me with a sparkler and free ice cream with my dessert to celebrate my birthday! In addition, I am a coeliac and I felt very safe at this establishment, with a majority of the food being either gf or gfo and Tibbs ensured whether it was a preference or allergy. We had such a great experience, would highly recommend!
Considering it was very busy, the Manager/ Matre de was very helpful in looking for a suitable table for myself who is in a wheelchair and 2 of my friends. Service with drinks was a little bit slow. My friend asked for gluten free options. They said not many on the menu was gluten free but they could offer gluten free. The same friend asked for parmesan cheese, an older waitress said sure but could take a while. Well that never came. So another waitress was asked (much younger), and it came within 2-3 minutes
Chicken bites came cold, dry, and tough. Had to ask for it to be made again fresh - second time was hot and more tender.
Burger was average. I ordered with gluten free buns but they weren't great - ended up taking them off.
$30 for burger and chicken bites is a bit steep though??
Also bought the $10 chips for 4 weeks deal but they told me it takes around 2 hours to load into my app. And so I couldn't get chips that day 🙃 so will try again later tonight or tomorrow...
Amazing food, we had a platter and the kids had souvlakis. Fresh and delicious. Daughter said the gluten free souvlaki was the best she has ever eaten.
Very welcoming. Lovely light (but generous) lunch meals topped off with fabulous coffee. Great service and first class presentation. Gluten free options.
I went to this restaurant this evening with my partner as we were craving for some Thai. When we went the tables were not clean and the service was so slow. The menu only had 2-3 gluten free options, other Thai places that we have eaten in Melbourne have plenty of g/f options. Anyways we ordered two meals with an entree. They brought my husbands food pad kee mao and after a while they brought the steam rice and finally my curry. The satay chicken was dry and When I saw the curry it had a hair on it, I complained and they brought me another curry but by then my rice had gone cold. I then complained and they brought another rice. I didn’t really enjoy the food or the service. I had come here 3 years ago but thought their service would have changed but. It hasn’t. 😌
Disclaimer: it's a long review from a very happy mum of a 7 year old coeliac!
We planned our first trip to Melbourne with our 7year old coeliac after his diagnosis last year. We are vegetarians and were looking for a coeliac safe Indian restaurant. We contacted Gaylord and were told that the kitchen can accommodate coeliacs. Not only did they have gf bread option - which they make separately on a dedicated pan(instead of the tandoor) but they also have Currys which are Gf. They are very well aware of cross contamination
What I was extremely impressed with however, was how the team at Gaylord handled our request. The chef Himanshu came out to check with us and prepared some sides for my son, fresh from scratch. A special shout out to Yamin Sheikh, who was extremely patient over the call and took note of all our requests and requirements. He double checked with Chef and called us back reassuring us about cross contamination.Indian tempering might contain asafoetida (which is a hidden source of gluten in Indian food) Yamin advised us on the safe options that did not contain asafoetida. On our arrival at the restaurant he ensured everything was in order. Yamin’s knowledge, preparedness and passion to make it safe for my son reflected in his efforts and we ended up visiting the restaurant 4 times during our stay.
I highly recommend Gaylord to coeliacs who are looking to eat Indian food. The food is delicious the staff is patient and reliable and the experience and satisfaction level is outstanding. Big thank you to Mr. Yamin Sheikh one more time for his dedication and patient ear.
I had the pad Thai with chicken, and due to food intolerances, I asked for gluten-free and no onions and garlic. They were happy to oblige, and it tasted amazing, so much flavour! I know my friends were happy with their meals aswell. I will definitely become back here.
This is a great place for lunch in Docklands. Many gluten free and vegan options on the menu, friendly staff and delicious food. I will definitely go back!
Food is fine, service can be very hit or miss, and atmosphere is cruisy and relaxed.
The coffee, until today, was standard. Nothing to ever write about. Until. Today.
The flat white was superb. The crema on top was ever so slightly nutty and burnt and melded beautifully with the right amount of milk. Best coffee I've had in Melbourne. Old mate who made it deserves an award.
It must also be said that as a Coeliac, I can eat a few items from the menu. On the odd occassion the wait staff stuff up the order and it comes with a slice of personal poison, the fantastic chefs ALWAYS rectify the meal for me. Never been an issue. Admittedly, the situation should never get that far, but when it does, the chef's handle it with grace and kindness.
But the coffee...🥰
I had an incredible experience here! I ordered a gluten-free vegetarian burger, and it was very delicious. I was served by Maetry, who was very kind and friendly. I will definitely return.

Thank you to the lovely ladies who were able to make me a gluten free toastie! It was almost impossible getting breakie for myself before a big day, with many places around not catering for gluten free. It was delicious 🤤 The staff were amazing.
If I could rate higher I would! The care taken for my husband being coeliac was just amazing and made us both feel so at ease. The staff were all amazing and so welcoming. Would definitely go again next time we visit Melbourne 😊
Let me tell you…
This morning I left my home in a hurry, this can be a difficult situation when one is coeliac and hungry, making it a difficult task to find a good restaurant, lucky for me I entered this Cafe, I enjoyed a delicious gluten free breakfast, Corn bread with poached eggs and fresh salsa with avocado!!! Thank you all for the great hospitality and food!!
I could not believe how fast it was considering the place was packed and how delicious this steak was. I ll be coming back 200%.

My family went here and two of us have gluten free allergies.
The staff and chefs were very accommodating to our gluten free requirements and the food was delicious!
Amazing. Your Gluten Free Stir Fry did not compromise its flavour. I thank you for providing the Gluten Free Options and allow us to eat safely as coeliac. Thank you. I think it tastes better than Bangpop and Dodee Padang for Gluten Free options.
Highly recommend chili seafood pasta and Aussie pizza. Great to see that there are gluten-free options available. Fantastic location, very friendly and attentive service.
