Really great place. Very friendly and attentive staff. Servings were HUGE, and they were fantastic about catering for my gluten free diet. My only feedback: consider adding “GFO” next to items on the menu that have gluten free option. This would've saved my many nervous questions.

It was good to eat dinner here. We would come here again. Location: Central, close to shops. Access: Close to parking, wheelchair and pram friendly. Cleaniness: Hand-gel for Covid. Tables wiped. Atmosphere: Good ambience, including sunken sitting Japanese room and table seating. Availability: We did need to book ahead for mid-week. There were adequate dine-in seats. Waiter service. Food & drinks: Menu included set menu, snack size and full size meals, salads, and catered for vegetarian, gluten free. Comprehensive drinks menu included Japanese sakes, wines, beers, cocktails. I had teriyaki chicken [which was fair] and egg plant [which was great]. Drinks, beer and wine list matched the menu. This is a ★★★ property that delivers a broad range of amenities that exceed above-average needs.
