Cute little fish fry! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a great place for gluten free dining! So many choices available: gluten free bun and if it is fried, it can be made gluten free! One of the only places in the area that I have seen overing some amazing gluten free onion rings!
We've been here a few times for lunch meetings. The staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. Their gluten free bread and pizza crust are just as good as the "real" thing!
A large party of us came for a big family dinner because Peddlers is a trusted restaurant for those of us with celiac. We were seated at a table in the bar area not large enough to accommodate us. I asked if we could spread out to the empty table next to us and no one came back to us to confirm. Some had to hold their plate vs. use the table. The food was overpriced. The mandarin salad was topped with mandarins that had passed. But the real kicker was that one of us with celiac was served regular chicken tenders on a salad marked and served as gluten free. The poor waitress said “I don’t know why they did that” and comped the salad on the bill, but still added the automatic 20% gratuity to the bill. No apology from the cook or manager although that one family member had to leave immediately to deal with the almost immediate allergic reaction. Unreal. Would not return, and would not trust if you have a gluten allergy.
This has been my go to for gluten free pizza for years now. Cristina is always very friendly and never makes a mistake making my usual order. And Ben is a cuper chill and kind guy. The kindness of the employees adds to the experience!
If you are the customer and you are the one saying “hi, how are you” you know there’s a problem.. I got here at 7:57 (they close at 9) and all three employees GRILLED me with dirty looks, no greeting. The dude who ended up making my sub was extremely respectful to my gluten allergy which I appreciated, but they made me feel extremely uncomfortable just for being there😂
I ordered a vegan, gluten free muffin. The center was completely raw dough! When I told a server this, and advised that they not be selling them, she assured me not to worry about salmonella, because they were vegan, but she would “mention it to someone” . No one offered to reimburse me for the raw muffin that I couldn’t eat. And, the rest of the muffins were still on the counter, waiting to be sold when I left.
I also ordered a London Fog tea. It was awful! I could not drink it! I’ve had London Fog’s at many cafes, but this was bad. It didn’t taste like it was supposed to at all. Such a disappointment, and a waste of money!
I thought it was very good. My gluten-free waffles came out perfect, they weren’t soggy or fell apart easily which I really appreciate. My friend enjoyed her sandwich but she said it wasn’t her favorite sandwich
3rd time in a row they messed up our on-line order. When people need to eat gluten free or dairy free, screwing up the order is more than just an inconvenience. We basically spell it out for you by ordering on-line. My bowl was 1/2 full & had cheese that shouldn't have been there. Other meals were similarly wrong. We called to complain and was told "sorry, we'll share this with our team" doesn't really help either. Maybe I should ask Visa to not pay .. (by sharing with my team).
Sake bon in clifton park is probably one of THE BEST hibachi restaurants I've been too. They know gluten free like no other. They have the best staff. Just an all around great environment. Amazing food, delicious cocktails and fantastic entertainment... this place really does have it all. They really are our favorite go to. I'm there atleast two times a week.
Showed up on a bad day. The Grecian is our "go-to" when we can't decide where to go because they have so many options. Salads, pizza, burgers, italian...
We showed up around 330 before the 5pm rush bc we wanted a nice, calm early dinner. I don't know if they were short-handed, not prepared, but for 330, there were a few tables occupied and maybe 1 server, but she explained to us that she was taking care of a few tables and we've had her before and no issues. It went downhill after we got our salads, no refills, and the one order was incorrect from the wellness of the burger to the special request for strictly gluten-free and the feeble attempt to correct it in the kitchen. We were hungry and don't complain, but it was definitely not "the norm". We'll be back, but we will definitely speak up next time. For the manager, staff appropriately, help out when you see your staff struggling and at least walk the floor and check on YOUR customers. The good news is, there were at least 2 or 3 more servers by the time we left.
My husband and I had a lovely dining experience here today. Our Waitress, Laurel, was fantastic. She was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed soup, salad, and an entree. I selected a Gluten Free Pasta with a Golden Mushroom Sauce which was so delicious. My husband had a Chicken dish which was great. Laurel took our orders and served our meals quickly. The salad was very fresh. The soup was very good, and our meals were served hot from the oven. Laurel gave us cheese on our soup and salad. Everything was made to order and nicely plated. We did not have room for dessert. This was our first visit to this location. We will return again.
The pizza was SO good. The gluten free pizza was also SO good! My husband loved it!! Only thing that would have made this experience better was if the outdoor patio was prepared and we were able to sit out there (called and asked if we could bring our dog and they said yes but when we arrived the patio was a mess and so we had to eat in our car).
Excellent service and fresh food. Can go over for a more formal dinner or a nice lunch with friends & family. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you are gluten free this is the place for you as staff are extremely cautious about what they are cooking and serving you. Definitely will be back, thanks for a nice lunch ☺️
