We love eating at Denny’s in Glen Carbon. The food has always been great and the service exceptional! Only one complaint; the management has discontinued the gluten-free English muffins 🥲…Please bring them back!
Ordered a medium rare steak and it was done perfectly fine but it tasted like liver a filet should not taste like liver. Not much they could do about the poor quality meat so I didn't complain I was on a bad enough date and did not want to prolong it further. 😬 I had informed the kitchen that I had a gluten allergy and to change their gloves before making my order that apparently didn't happen because I was sick within 20 minutes of leaving the restaurant. My waiter was awesome tho very personable
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, because no gluten free buns, however the food was awesome, we hadn't been there in a while, was really surprised, we'll be back,
Known for its amazing BBQ and unique sandwich creations, this spot stands out with a menu that offers something for everyone.

I have Celiac Disease and have ate food from this location a few times now. I have never had a bad reaction to the food and they seem very accommodating to people with food allergies and auto-immune diseases.
The brisket, pulled pork, and burnt ends (all the meals I have tried) have been excellent, the best BBQ in the area. My wife loves a sandwich called "The Tuck" and it looks amazing!
That being said, be sure to specify no corn bread when ordering if you have Celiac Disease. The time I forgot to specify no cornbread it was put in the box with my meal and, due to the cross contamination, was unable to eat my meal.
I highly recommend trying Edley's if you are in the greater St. Louis area.
