During my last visit to my beloved and family KATO, I managed to visit this restaurant for the second time, although this time not in Osiedle Gwiazdy, but in the very city center.
Delicious food and many options for people who, out of necessity or choice, follow other diets/eating styles.
Many gluten-free dishes and for people on KETO diet, etc.
I recommend it and I will definitely go back there on my next visit to Katowice.
tl;dr: Excellent.
Delicious food, friendly service, intimate atmosphere without blaring music.
We were there two days in a row, the first time due to my partner's food intolerances, and the second time because everything was just fine.
During this time we ate (or took away):
Butter rolls - great, expressive flavors
Corn soup - a surprising combination of sweet and spicy
Vegetarian burger with vegetable fries - fries on point, crispy and juicy at the same time, very tasty burger, although it would also work in a bun
Classic burger with sweet potato fries - fresh vegetables, delicious cutlet, great sauces and perfectly fried bacon, as a whole it tasted better than in most burger places I visited
Pizza - very tasty, although a bit small
Pizza rolls - with salami, ham, mushrooms and onion, a bit surprising, definitely worth trying (especially the option with salami)
The service was very nice, some dishes were prepared especially for us, and they were served very quickly.
Portions of the right size, filling.
Very affordable prices, although I am writing this from the perspective of a visitor from a big city.
Overall: it's worth it, regardless of whether you tolerate gluten or not :)
During a trip to Bielsko-Biała, I visited the "Ciacho bez sugar" confectionery, which specializes in lactose-free and gluten-free cakes. I tried the chocolate one with currant filling - it was delicious! I took four cookies in different flavors to go. The offer also includes natural ice cream, sorbets and one vegan lactose-free variant. This is a great example that people with lactose and gluten intolerance can also enjoy desserts - it's just a pity that there are still so few such places. It would be nice to have a confectionery shop closer to Mikołów!
Everything for intolerances! In my case Gluten Free, the desserts are also with natural sugars.
Very quiet environment and friendly and helpful staff.
Surprising that the coffee is good and comparable to the Italian one.
One of the best vegan restaurants we've ever been to in 6 years. Even more impressive considering there is no other vegan restaurant in this region. The food was special, unique and beautiful balance of healthy, nutritional and delicious. Gluten free options were incredibly good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Just go and try it if you're vegan or not! 🙂
Upon arriving I noted that my date would be joining me 20 mins later so I ordered a beer. 10 mins after waiting I ordered food, 5 mins after I was told it would take 50 mins for our food to arrive... I wasnt impressed. My Girlfriend is celiac but this shouldn't delay our food to this measure considering there were 6 tables only. Our food was satisfactory but lacked in balance of flavour. Way to acidic on both burgers unfortunately. The servers were pleasant but I could see the chef giving them a hard time from what I could see over simple matters, as an experienced chef no one should get this worked up over 6 tables. Anyway we were late for our movie :( poor us thanks for reading
Very nice place with delicious sushi. The service lady was very friendly and helpful. You can get sushi without gluten and dairy. Without having to exclude particular types of sushi. There was a large selection, and the lady simply replaced the Philadelphia cheese with mayonnaise. Usually, this was not possible in other places, so we were pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it :)
Good morning! Today I discovered sugar-free cake in Jaworzno, I took it to go, fudge cake and browni without gluten and lactose, delicious, I recommend it because it's really worth visiting and choosing something for yourself for coffee.
A nice little Italian restaurant right next to the market square in Gliwice. They have the option of gluten-free cake, despite the lack of a certificate and the risk of cross-contamination, I ate it 3 times as a person with celiac disease, and everything was always fine! The kitchen takes great care of cleanliness so that the risk of contamination is minimal.
The taste is absolutely ok, it may not be any top Polish product, but it's really decent. I recommend it!
The place has a great atmosphere, top-class service, a competent waiter who takes care of his guests and is committed to his work. The restaurant offers gluten-free meals. Although the restaurant does not have a gluten-free menu certificate, the waiter has extensive knowledge on the subject. He takes the disease seriously, carefully explaining all the "rules" in the kitchen. Chefs are open to customers with a smile on their faces and offer suggestions for other gluten-free meals. I am glad that I will finally be able to eat close to home, tasty, consciously and in a great atmosphere, and in the summer I will be able to have a gluten-free beer with my friends. Overall 10/10, I hope that in the future it will be a restaurant with a certificate for people with celiac disease. It's great that you are in Silesia ☺️
Really enjoyed the salads there. I had a kimchi prawn one but replaced the prawn with tofu which was handy for a vegetarian. My friend supplemented something in her salad to make it gluten free. A healthy option for a fast food.
A huge selection of delicious ice cream. Everyone will find something for themselves, even the most demanding customer.
An ice cream parlor run with passion and attention to every taste and visual detail. A huge plus for ice cream with white sugar substitutes, gluten-free and vegan ice cream, which are so few on the market. I recommend it!!!
An inn that we found by accident, but which stole our hearts. As a bear lover, I am delighted with the decor, sculptures and stuffed bear inside.
The service is very friendly and professional, the food is delicious and fresh, and there is also something gluten-free on the menu. I recommend.
Great place with great service. The waitress (blonde) is very nice, she listened, advised what to choose for a gluten-free diet and made sure that the kitchen prepared a special meal. Thank you very much, I will definitely visit again!
The best pastry shop and cafe in town. Every piece of cake and meringue I tried was delicious. There are also cakes and meringues for people on a gluten-free diet. I will come back more often 😊
Hamburger extra. I recommend it, although I am not a fan of this type of food, I was tempted and it was not a mistake. Lots of extras and individual approach to customers. A gluten-free roll was specially made for my husband, which amazed us, and he was filled with infinite happiness because he always has problems with his favorite dishes.
