the best gluten free pizza i’ve had in my life and it’s an authentic Napoleon style! the owner is so nice and checked on us our first time as gluten free diners, the pizza is prepared separately but there is gluten in the kitchen so keep that in mind ~ i’ve never had a reaction at verde or had a reaction with delivery - highly recommend!
Delicious celiac-safe authentic Sardinian cuisine! The pasta was so delicious and they brought gluten free bread for the table. They have gluten free items marked on the menu and have gluten free dessert options too!
Best gluten free experience in baltimore! Daniel was awesome! He was very knowlegdeable about the gluten free options and was aware of cross contamination. Both my sister and i have celiac and they were very accommodating! 10/10 would reccomend. The food was fantastic!

We recently saw Cosima on TV and decided to try somewhere different for date-night.. When we saw that they offered so many GF options, we couldn't wait to try them out. She had the GF version of the Pizza Memento and gluten-free bread as an app. I had the Gamberi Al Forno and Pizza Salumi. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back.
They have gluten free pizza that they can make on a separate pan to avoid cross contamination and a dedicated fryer for delicious fried brussel sprouts!

Fantastic pizza spot. Well suited for our gluten-free, vegan cadre of 9 people post-aquarium. The pizza was delicious. Crust was bready (with gluten) and crispy (gluten free). Great toppings spread. Inviting atmosphere, especially the upstairs. Owners were really accommodating -- we walked in with, again, 9 people, and they were able to seat us with truly impressive charm. Thanks!
I live nearby and frequent Zella’s very regularly. Their pies absolutely do not disappoint! Cheese is always excellent. Two or three crusts to choose from (including cauliflower and gluten free crusts) and many topping choices.
Their bar is great, with draft beers, plenty of wine, and other beers/etc in the coolers. Bartenders are always friendly and engaging, and actually aware of neighborhood events! Baran, Rasul, and Luis are my favorites!
The St. Magnus is my current favorite pizza! It’s so much deliciousness into one amazing meat salad 😂
The night was cold and miserable, but the moment we entered La Scala, all that was left behind. It is a warm and inviting environment where comfort food is the default option everywhere on the menu. My wife has celiac disease, and they handled that obstacle like a minor pothole in the road, even assured us that in a world Swimming in homemade pasta, their gluten free area was safe from cross contamination. We predictably eat well and have a wonderful experience every time we enter their doors.
The few times I ordered pizza from this place were disappointing. Very dry, burnt, thin crust with almost no cheese and the extra toppings are crazy expensive. I also had to order a gluten free pizza once for an allergic person and it was the saddest pizza I’ve ever seen! Won’t make this mistake again. The competition place across the street is way better!
I absolutely love Tagliata. They have the best gluten free pasta and take precautions to make the dishes safe for celiac. Honorable mention to their pasta bolognese - it’s so good!!
After an afternoon of axe throwing, my wife and I were looking for a place with great food and gluten-free options, and Carrabba's exceeded our expectations. Our server was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food arrived remarkably fast, just 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered, and everything was cooked to perfection. It was clear that the kitchen staff took pride in their work. What truly stood out was when the chefs themselves came to our table to personally ensure that our meals were perfect - a truly exceptional touch! The atmosphere was wonderfully laid-back, with decent music creating a relaxing ambiance. And to top it all off, we were able to take home a delicious to-go order for only $10 thanks to a special they were running. Overall, a 5-star experience from start to finish.
First time visiting this spot. Really happy with the quality, friendliness, and speed. Stopped in at 11pm and got a couple pizzas and wings and everything was delicious!
Gluten free too, pizza was good and didn't cause me any trouble, same with their buffalo wings,
Definitely recommend!
Mario's Pizza is the BEST!! We have ordered from Mario's dozens of times and every time their pizza is outstanding! We have picked up our orders AND had it delivered - each time the pizza was ready when promised and delivered at the time we requested. All of their pizza choices (regular, Sicilian and gluten free) are delicious. As you can tell, we are big fans of Mario's!
Marta is such a fantastic experience, from the ambiance to the service, to the drinks to the food, a delight to the senses from start to finish! Some of the best espresso martinis in the city as well!
My only suggestion for improvement would be the option for gluten free pasta, so many people in Baltimore suffer from gluten sensitivities, allergies, and even celiac who would love the option to still enjoy Marta’s amazing pasta dishes.
The limincello martini is delicious and lasagna was exceptional. My husband needs to eat gluten free, and the GF pasta option allowed for most menu items to be prepared gluten free. Service was very good, too. Highly recommend.
Gluten free pizza was delicious. Not celiac friendly(which I am) but I took the risk and they were knowledgeable and understanding to tidy and make me some pizza. They were quick to make it and very friendly staff. Certainly an enjoyable experience.
Always a great experience here! Have been dining here for years and find it to be one of the only remaining staples of historic Little Italy! Gluten free pasta and custom made dishes always delight.
Our family pre-scheduled a catered dine-in lunch after a funeral on a Saturday. The fruit was fresh. The salad was as well. The entres were excellent, including a vegetarian option. Beverages were good. There was a good choice of cakes for dessert of very good quality and tasty. The service was top notch. The staff went over and above by providing a gluten free pizza upon our request. Squires made our difficult day quite a bit easier considering circumstances. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Should you choose Squires for catering, you won't be disappointed.
The selection of what to eat for Italian-American fare is vast. I usually get the Spaghetti Pizza: a monstrous slice of thick deliciousness filled with spaghetti noodles and sauces--mmmm!
But today I decided to pass on the gluten and try a salad. While my wife ordered the Manicotti, I ordered the Bocelli Salad with cubes of feta atop a sliced grilled chicken breast and bed of lettuce and red onions. The dressing is a balsamic vinaigrette and we ordered to go.
My wife said her manicotti was heavy on the salt, but good.
As for my salad...
It took me about 10 bites to uncover a tomato chunk (1 of about 5) and an olive (1 of about 6). And I may have put too much dressing on, but the salad was delish! I will plan to get it again!
The missing star is due to the lack of hospitality. The young ladies who served us seemed like they didn't want to be there. But the food is great!
Amazing gluten free pizza in the Baltimore downtown area. It tastes homemade, and the owner hand delivered it to my house, very personable and seems to be passionate about his business which I love as that love shows up in the food 💜
PLEASE forgive me, as I am only permitted to award 5 stars, this incredible establishment is well deserving of 10 stars on a 5 star board! From the moment you step into the restaurant, you get a warm impression of grandeur. We arrived after a ballgame and felt underdressed. However, we were treated as though we were old friends. Sophia Loren herself appeared to have greeted us with her grace, in mural style. The meals we enjoyed were Michelin Star worthy in both presentation and taste! All the pasta is hand rolled to order, all made in house. Gluten-Free options abound here, from G-F Ravioli and Spaghetti to G-F Pizza! Wow, that alone is impressive! Sue's Ravioli D'aragosta (Lobster Ravioli, Lump Crabmeat in a Saffron Cream sauce) looked too beautiful to disturb, but it just melted in her mouth as she savored every bite. Meanwhile, I had the Seafood Marbella = OMG, truly amazing! I substituted the Fettuccine for the G-F Spaghetti (you can't tell the difference). Just a hint of heat with the Calabrian Chile Peppers, tender Scallops, Shrimp, and topped with Crabmeat in D.O.P. San Marzano sauce. We finished the evening with Creme Brulee, bruleed table side! Stunning, to say the least. Brittany and Gianni were attentive, engaging, and yet not intrusive. What a spectacular experience for a romantic evening out or a delightful afternoon meal.
