A superb experience at this restaurant, which offers gluten-free options with Sicilian specialties, from starters to desserts.
Very good, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices.
I recommend it.
A restaurant with excellent food and many gluten-free options. The family atmosphere is very pleasant. We ordered Pasta alla Norma and gluten-free Tortellini.
Delicious food and excellent variety of food. Including desserts.
But the staff isn’t trained!! The waiter brought my gluten free pizza in the same hand with gluten pizza directly touching it!!
Plate with gluten pizza was on my plate with gluten free pizza
The staff, the atmosphere, and the food were excellent.
There were nine of us and only my daughter has Celiac. They took exceptional care of her. Everything she had was delicious and carefully prepared. They even provided her with information on near by bakeries that were 100% gluten free. Our waiter said his wife is celiac also, so he was incredibly knowledgeable.
Small but nice place, welcoming atmosphere, we took 1 gluten-free appetizer, 1 gluten-free pizza with tomato, buffalo mozzarella, bacon and parmesan flakes, and 2 with gluten, 1 Zarina and 1 Margherita. As far as I'm concerned it was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever tasted before... absolutely satisfied

It was delicious, and we had a fantastic gluten-free pizza...I thought the small surcharge for gluten-free was a shame; we weren't aware of that. Since we have to follow a gluten-free diet, we're glad we had such a great selection here, but it would have been nice not to have to pay extra because we have a medical condition ;)
The staff was very friendly, and the service was super quick. We highly recommend this restaurant for people with celiac disease!
Very nice place with outdoor tables and indoor area, we were there for a pizza to celebrate a colleague's retirement. I found a good choice in the proposals also original, various types of dough also for celiacs. The service was impeccable, little waiting good coordination in the release of the dishes. The place is very nice and the food is good, I recommend it
Excellent quality pizza with various types of dough, including gluten free. Availability of seats both indoors and in the dehor in front of the restaurant, capable of accommodating large groups (we were 22..!). To try again to taste another dough among all those available 👍
An experience to remember – thank you “La Dolce Vita in Giardino”!
We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant and we can only express our gratitude for the care and love with which we were welcomed. We were a “beautifully complicated” table, composed of 12 people, including one with gluten intolerance — but our every need was listened to, understood and satisfied with extraordinary kindness and professionalism.
The staff literally pampered us from start to finish, going beyond all expectations. Always smiling, proactive, available, very prepared. The service was punctual, impeccable, with a genuine friendliness that made us feel truly at home.
The food? Excellent, both in quality and presentation. The location is splendid, with attention to detail, and you can breathe an atmosphere of passion and dedication everywhere. The owner was also present, precise, attentive: a clear sign of a management that deeply loves what it does.
“La Dolce Vita in Giardino” is much more than a restaurant: it is a place where you are welcomed with the heart. We will definitely be back. Congratulations to all the staff!
What a huge disappointment.
The two of us got two pizzas.
A gluten-free Romana and a margherita with mushrooms whose cooking is rather doubtful as they looked like they were defecated by a seagull.
In any case, we go beyond sight and eat them, terrible, very poor quality of both the dough and the ingredients (as simple as they were).
But that's not all, we also had considerable difficulty digesting the pizzas, which literally remained on our stomachs.
Final gem, two pizzas (one Roman and one Margherita with mushrooms) two cokes and a bottle of water €43.50, a robbery!!!
If they had been good I wouldn't have said anything, but two crazy things and excessive prices for the poor quality (saying quality is a compliment)!
Huge disappointment!!
Never never again
I was enchanted by the gastronomic magic and evocative atmosphere of the "'A Castellana" restaurant, located in a panoramic square under the majestic Caccamo castle. Its interior, furnished with ancient tools, creates a welcoming atmosphere rich in history, perfect for an unforgettable culinary experience.
The restaurant staff proved to be extremely attentive and attentive to customer needs, helping to make the experience even more pleasant.
We began our gastronomic journey with an appetizer of high quality cured meats and cheeses, which conquered our palate with authentic and delicious flavours.
The first courses, a risotto with porcini mushrooms and tagliatelle with sauce and wild boar ragout, were a real delight. The mastery in the preparation and the choice of ingredients made these dishes exceptional, demonstrating the chef's culinary skill.
The highlight was the grilled short rib, enriched with aromatics that added depth to the flavours. The meat was tender, succulent and perfectly cooked, confirming the mastery of "'A Castellana" cuisine.
We accompanied our dinner with an excellent frappato red wine from "Tenute Orestiadi", which was able to further enhance the flavors of the dishes.
A particularly appreciable aspect is the restaurant's willingness to adapt to customers' dietary needs, offering gluten-free options for those who suffer from intolerances.
As regards the quality-price ratio, I think the cost is normal, considering the quality of the dishes, the atmosphere and the impeccable service offered.
In conclusion, our experience at "'A Castellana" was exceptional in every aspect. We look forward to returning to experience more culinary delights and enjoy the warm hospitality of this charming restaurant.
Beautiful and well-kept location, large parking lot, green space and playground for children.
Very polite staff and attentive to the needs of others, allergies, intolerances... my.prepared on the subject of celiac disease. Excellent food and especially the gluten free one.
Not to mention the desserts, one better than the other.
I highly recommend both for the location and for the food. Excellent experience.
Excellent gluten-free food with a wide choice, the tuna meatball and the artichoke caponata are fantastic but also everything else. Friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommended.
We stayed two days in Cefalù and had dinner here, what can I say, the fish was wonderful, but the pizzeria is also very good, I am celiac and I found the gluten free dough truly exceptional, prices in the average for the season and the location. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially for education and friendliness of the staff
LEEVITA ... the love for pizza.
You know! We Neapolitans are always attentive to pizza because we consider it as a "UNESCO HERITAGE" and it cannot be missing, at least weekly, on our tables... every time we visit a city, it is normal to have the desire to respect this "tradition".. In Cefalù, at Lievita, we found a pizza with excellent raw materials combined with a very light dough, seasoned with love and the smell of the sea (the pizzeria being just a few meters from the seafront).
Of no small importance is the delicacy of gluten-free pizza with an excellent dough and excellent cooking which, as we know, is not always easy to obtain.
Clean and welcoming environment.
Attentive and friendly service that always makes you feel at home.
THANK YOU.
I can't talk about the restaurant, but I was definitely disappointed with the pizza I ate.
Small in size, very salty and overall very disappointing.
The French fries were very good and the gluten-free pizza (I didn't eat it) impressed my partner in a positive way.
Suggestive location, at least the external part of the place.
The bill was in line with what we consumed and not at all excessive.
I will probably repeat the experience, this time trying a pasta dish.
English: We went to the tavern for dinner, the staff were very kind and super helpful in explaining the dishes. One of us was celiac but had no problem because they have gluten-free pasta, the same for main courses and appetizers. Phenomenal food, pasta full of sauce and really generous portions: a first course was enough for two people, but because of the goodness we literally cleaned the plates (even though in our opinion they were 180/200 grams of pasta). We also had white wine and mixed appetizers with olives, caponata, sweet and sour pumpkin and milk croquettes, all delicious. I highly recommend the place to anyone passing through Palermo also for the characteristic Sicilian atmosphere given by the furniture that I found to be the icing on the cake to the delicious food. For 4 of us we spent about €20 each with a large appetizer, 1 enormous first course each, wine, water and coke, a price that I find very fair for the good food and service offered
Very welcoming place with a warm and relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend it to anyone with gluten intolerance!
Congratulations, never change, you are a point of reference for those who find themselves passing through Termini Imerese!
Overall average, raw gluten-free pizza and a little doughy, lupacchiotta pizza instead of bresaola there was carpaccio and low in parmesan flakes, good starters.

This restaurant does not appear to be open at 12 midday as it says on the website. We arrived at 12 only to be told it didn’t open until 12.15. We could have booked online for 12 so I suspect it was just laziness. Perhaps update your online opening times or tell your staff to let people in at 12. Can’t comment on food which did appear to have gluten free options.
We book our table for Saturday evening on TheFork. Once we arrive on site we wait a few minutes and they make us sit at our table. The room is welcoming and large. The service is very fast and efficient, attentive to celiacs and they welcome every customer request, satisfying and pampering them. We will return to eat in this little oasis again during the week.
A place found by chance in the historic center of Palermo, but a little away from the main streets, due to the possibility of eating some gluten-free dishes. I must say that it met expectations: I ate a delicious mussel soup (served with gluten-free bread on the side) and spaghetti with sea urchins, with good seasoning but unfortunately a little overcooked. Honest bill and generous portions, fairly fast service, air conditioning throughout.
I went to this place exclusively because it was clear that they also had gluten-free arancine, but unfortunately, with great disappointment, I had to see that they didn't have any. Information on food intolerances must be accurate and up-to-date.
However, I gave 4 stars for the great variety of flavors they had available and because I ate a classic one with meat sauce, and it was spectacular. One of the best I've ever eaten.
I repeat, it's a shame they didn't have gluten-free arancini, my celiac daughter couldn't eat them.
Very nice place, tidy, clean, very professional staff, particular attention to the waitress Francesca who, being Celiac, was able to recommend me a lunch worth 10.... all delicious, definitely recommended to be done again 👍👏
Nothing happens by chance ...! That Sunday we were supposed to go somewhere else but a detour due to construction took us to Piana degli Albanesi, a town I've always wanted to visit but had never managed to. Finding ourselves there and as a celiac it's always a dilemma to be able to eat out, I find myself instead calling this place where I'm told they have gluten-free. Believe me though, I could never have imagined being able to take "a journey through flavors"! First of all, a very welcoming and well-kept place, professional and kind staff, then the attention in explaining the various courses was very important. Then the menu and the surprise in discovering that you can order anything the same as the others in the gluten-free version is priceless! 🥰
The first course was with beef sauce, but "The Beef Sauce", as the 6-hour cooking and the addition of cocoa and cinnamon to taste gave that unique and particular taste, the best moment was the choice of pasta shape, usually I have to settle for the usual penne, here instead I was able to choose between various shapes and brands known in gluten-free for the characteristics of the pasta, I chose the rigatoni, a perfect combination with the sauce, the very tender pieces of meat, it must be said that this dish could already be a first and second course together but we also ordered the second course, a grilled meat consisting of sliced beef, lamb ribs and sausage with a side of potatoes. Super good! 😉
Then last but not least, the gluten-free desserts, I opted for the decomposed cannolo with citrus ricotta.
What can I say? If you don't go and try it, you'll miss out on a delicious experience 💯💯💯💯I can't wait to go back 😘😘😘😘greetings from Marsala
Except for president.
Stunning place: truly Sicilian dishes, very fresh fish, fresh pasta also for celiacs and an uncommon kindness from all the staff. Well done Salvo and all his staff. I forgot: the cellar is extraordinary.
Go there. We will be back.
I ate the best gluten-free pizza of my life there. My birthday wasn't supposed to be until the next day, but I celebrated with the meal there.
The staff was very child-friendly, and the view directly onto the rocky path by the sea was appealing. Highly recommended.
A very nice restaurant with very friendly staff. We felt very welcome and comfortable, even as a family with two children.
We especially appreciated the gluten-free food and the knowledgeable staff about celiac disease.
Great atmosphere and very stylish decor!
Good food, nothing to say, welcoming place but there are things to improve.
Service a little poor, non-existent waiters who you have to ask for things several times and above all look for them because they never come out to ask (only one was polite but still not attentive). Another flaw: Prices too high in my opinion. Another piece of advice when offering gluten-free food and I'm very happy that there is attention to this, it would be nice to also have an option for dessert, simple ice cream would be enough to make us happy.
There’s nothing exceptional about the restaurant. Much better places with 50m walk. I had pasta with sardines for lunch, and it was average and not very hot. My other half had a gluten free pizza (she’s caeliac), and it was made using a frozen base because the toppings were cooked but the base was not. Instead of making a new pizza, it was put back in to oven and brought back exactly as it was taken away. Not good enough. Again, much better g/f choices within a short walk. Disappointed
I don't feel like I can give 5 stars because the price of the bill seemed a little high, in the menu it is not specified or explained that the price of the fish of the day varies according to its weight, in any case €8 per 100 grams seem excessive to me for a grilled fish. For the rest it was a really excellent lunch, the food was delicious and the staff were really friendly and nice, the owners were really nice and kind. Wonderful view, I booked the restaurant mainly for that. And last but not least, the gluten-free option for the dishes, they were very good and immediately reassured me of the attention and care they put into preparing gluten-free dishes and indeed it was like this, overall it was a truly excellent lunch, but I would revisit the prices for a moment.
Amazing staff, very accommodating, delicious and always very friendly. Very good gluten free options

If you are looking for a guaranteed gluten free meal that is top quality and delivered with great service and English speaking laughs then this place is it. Booked for incorrect time but still sealed us then served anything my wife wanted with gluten free amendments. Perfect.
