The margarita pizza was so delicious. The chicken pesto pizza was okay, a little dense and gave me a stomach ache.
Some of the most delicious gluten free pizzas I’ve ever had.
There is something special about wood fire pizza. This little place has been open for 2 and a half years. It is family owned and operated. The chef has many years of experience.
The menu has something for everyone including gluten free pizza crust, gluten free penne and gnocchi. They also offer vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni.
I tried the Hawaiian pizza on gluten free crust. It is made in house with a mix of maize and rice flour. I was cautioned about cross contamination because it is cooked in a common oven but I had no issues. Generous toppings with a drizzle of balsamic and a coconut lime margarita to go with it.
My server was just lovely. He answered every one of my questions and was very knowledgeable.
Definitely will try the gnocchi next time.
It has some of the better tasting pizzas, but the outlandish prices are unwarranted in my humble opinion. My wife paid a very high price for a small gluten free with rather dry crust...
The food was average and overpriced. The mozzarella balls were pretty good but the tomato sauce they came with could have been made with more spices, tasted like it was basically just tomatoes. It also tasted like it was made out of canned crushed tomatoes. The pizza’s took a long time to come out even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. I got the arugula prosciutto pizza and it was fine, a little dry just having an olive oil sauce. I did the combo and the Caesar salad was strangely oily. The gluten free pizza crusts weren’t very good, which was disappointing since you have to pay extra to substitute and there’s so many good gluten free alternatives out there now. My boyfriend’s pizza crust was undercooked and when they put it back in the oven they brought it back to him burnt. The reason I’m giving two stars instead of three for the average food is because they didn’t compensate or discount my boyfriend’s pizza at all despite it being undercooked and then burnt. Our server was very lovely though and if our review was based off of her service alone it’d be 5 stars :)
Very kind people, delicious food, reasonable prices. Will definitely be back! Small gluten free menu but great options (I had the grilled chicken bento box). Lots of vegetarian and some vegan as well. My friend said it was one of the best vegan sandwiches she’s had. I would live off the dalgona milk tea if I could.
Absolutely fabulous. It is a family owned Italian restaurant in downtown Kelowna, B.C. Canada. The Mother gets up every morning to make all the kast as for their dishes from scatch. If you've never had fresh pasta...... well there are no words. When you combine that with the fact that they have a gluten free pasta and then the stuffing and sauces OMG! Their Pizza is also like everything else is AMAZING. The service is exceptional and the staff make you feel right home. I highly recommend that if you are in the area or even just passing through you should take the time and eat here. FYI make a reservation a few days ahead as it is usually packed, especially now during the pandemic. They also have take out in case you want to eat it at home in elastic waist band sweats. Lol
