Wonderful find! Staff were so friendly and accomodating. My partner is coeliac and they really put his worries to rest with their knowledge and care.

Outstanding food and wine, with plenty of gluten- and dairy-free alternatives that don't take away at all from the core flavours of the dish. I avoid carbs usually but I was not about to miss out on these gnocchi (and I was not disappointed). What sets this place apart is the service. Staff seemed pleased to see each other and were always on hand to ensure our special occasion went smoothly. We were allowed to taste wines (all beautiful) to ensure we enjoyed what we would order. The owner, Keiran, was ever present with a beaming smile. Of all the wonderful restaurants in Cairns, Piccolo Cucina will continue to be our restaurant of choice for special occasions.

We were vwry happy during our dinner. Gluten-free pasta is available. Penne, but an Italian penne which made such a difference. It tasted homemade, and we had to ask them about it.

Very tasty food, great service and atmosphere!
Nice gluten free options. My wife had the carbonara with the gluten free penne pasta. She loved it. I had a grilled chicken salad with a balsamic dressing that was very tasty. The house red shiraz was very nice.
