Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't judge a pub by its decor. I was at first unsure as i entered, but the food was something else. The POTATO was some of the best I've ever had. The gravy was stupendous and gluten free (required by one of my group). The lamb and Yorkshire pudding were spot on! Friend who had the sea bass says it was "cooked to perfection". The staff were happy and friendly, and we even had the owner, who's also the chef, come to our table and see how we're doing! Good sized car park behind the building. Easy access from M4 J15.
