We regularly go to Restaurant Hirschen in Scheidegg – and are absolutely thrilled every time! The quality of the food is consistently at the highest level. No matter whether it's onion roast, schnitzel or rump steak - everything is perfectly prepared, tastes excellent and there are never any deviations. Particularly noteworthy is the option of making all dishes gluten-free – a huge plus! For our son, who has severe food allergies, the food is prepared individually and with a lot of consideration every time - a big thank you for that! The service is consistently friendly, courteous and quick. You feel welcome and well looked after. The atmosphere is cozy, traditional and fits perfectly with the region. You can tell that the work here is done with heart and quality. The ingredients are regional, fresh and the price-performance is absolutely fair. Our dog is also always welcome here. Conclusion: If you value consistent quality, warmth, consideration for allergies and dog-friendly hospitality, the Hirschen is the right place for you. For us, this is the best restaurant in the region – always a pleasure!

Nice hotel in the center. The rooms are smartly furnished and clean. The bathroom only has a sliding glass door. The staff is friendly. We found it strange that you had to pay extra for air conditioning and we have never experienced that before. It's also a shame that if you order a gluten-free breakfast, you have to wait another 20 minutes for the set breakfast time of 50 minutes until the rolls are baked and then they are still frozen in the middle. It's a shame... otherwise it was a recommendable hotel.

It was our first time here and definitely not the last time! Everything was just perfect! Innovative dishes, super friendly service and an exceptional location! There is also plenty of choice for vegans, and there are also gluten-free options. Even our dog was given a water bowl and a chair was moved away so that he had more space! The idea of ​​presenting the beer in the food is really great! Home-baked bread, home-made ice cream and great lemonades complete the overall picture perfectly!
