This is more than a restaurant, it’s a family tradition. We live in the Pacific Northwest and whenever we head to the east side of Washington, we have to stop and get a Miner Burger! My husband is 45 and as long as he can remember they have stopped there as a family and we now stop there with our grandkids. The burgers are amazing and we always get onion rings or tater tot’s. They have sauce stations so you can dispense your own, and we’re a saucy family. You won’t leave Miners hungry and if you do, it’s your own fault lol. This year I got a bacon burger, no cheese, no bun, and a side of peanut butter. I spread the peanut butter all over my bacon burger and ate it with a fork. Due to being gluten-free. This is the way I will now eat my burgers at Miner , I have gotten it lettuce wrapped before, but I prefer just with a fork. My husband, of course got the Miner burger with onion rings, and it did not disappoint. My mother-in-law got the crispy chicken salad, and it was more than she could eat, it’s a huge, beautiful salad. They do have stuff for everyone, make it your family’s new tradition when you’re in Yakima.
