My family has gone to Burger Me for years and one of our burgers always gets messed up. I have celiac disease and one time I ordered the cowboy burger gluten free and they put on the fried onions that are not gluten free. I called and the manager remade it for me and I had to go and pick it up. Tonight, I ordered the NV Elk Burger gluten free and I got a burger with pickles and a piece of lettuce, no sauce, no cheese, no anything else that is supposed to be on that burger. I called and again the manager offered to remake it and after I went all the way back to pick it up and brought I back home I reloaded they sent me a plain burger with a side of lettuce and tomato and chipotle mayo sauce. Again no cheese or anything else that is supposed to be on the elk burger. The food is good but not worth the hassle when the cooks cannot bother to make what we order.
The best pizza every time we come here. My wife is gluten free so eating out is tough, and this place is always a go to, and it's consistently delicious!!
I heard that they had gluten-free options, but my family has some Celiac in it, so I volunteered as the guinea pig, and there have been zero issues. Again, they really mean it. Multiple visits, not even any cross contamination symptoms. They really mean it. They went and added a fast food place I can actually take my son. I'm sincerely grateful.
We ate dinner here a few nights ago and had a good experience overall. I follow a very strict gluten free diet for medical reasons, and felt like the staff was very knowledgeable of what I could and could not have on their menu. I got a poké bowl with tofu and loved it. My partner (not gluten free) got a combo plate (pictured) and felt the short ribs, while flavorful, were excessively fatty and chewy. That was our only complaint and the reason I’m giving four stars and opposed to five. He would not order the short ribs again but would be willing to try something else. He loved the chicken and the sides.
