Great battered halloumi and chips and cheesy chips. Other chip shops I've tried locally don't offer halloumi. They have a separate fryer for gluten intolerance. Friendly helpful members of staff. Quick service

Visited as a pre booked group of 9 on a Saturday night. Arrived at our booking time of 6pm and was told to wait outside and queue with those that hadn't booked, ended up going in 25 minutes later. Once seated we waited for 30 minutes to have our order taken before asking someone if we could order food. The waitress came over and said "i was told you wanted to order food?" While waiting for food some of us went outside to smoke...the doorman then refused to let them back in unless they phoned someone from the table to come get them....weird. One person ordered a gluten free meal and another ordered a vegan meal...these were brought out separately to everyone elses and were specifically told that this was the vegan and gluten free meals. The rest of the food was brought out on a large tray and dumped at the end of the table leaving us to try work out what was what, meaning that quite a few of us are unsure if we actually got what we ordered. Shortly after starting to eat my partner noticed that his beef burger looked very much not like beef. My vegan friend then took apart his burger to see that it was beef... When we tried to speak to staff about this they tried to argue that he had picked up the wrong burger but this burger was specifically given to him stating it was vegan. This is totally unacceptable, if it was an allergy giving the wrong food could have killed them. The food was very nice but sadly the lack of care from staff ruined the night. There were also a large group of men shouting constantly and doing coke in the toilets :(

Not a happy customer…on asking for gluten free food only too be told by the manager how it’s not necessary because she believes that it’s not needed as doesn’t agree with it and that also environmental health officer had apparently told her that once food is cooked at high temperatures it kills gluten!!! I told her this is totally untrue!! Very neglectful having staff with such a lack of knowledge on allergies and also not nice too have such a rude person behind the counter either!! Would not recommend this shop as I would not trust them after listening too this lady
