I don’t usually do good or bad reviews but I can’t help but do so for this one. :) my lunch was so delicious and I can’t stop thinking about it. What made it even better was the service! I went to order lunch early on my break and the lady was kind enough to explain to me that the chicken was not ready and that it had to be cooked to the right temperatures so that’s it’s safe to eat. This was great to hear. I waited, ordered and got a free cookie for waiting! Really appreciated and gluten free which I need as I’m Coleac. So thank you to the staff today. :) will definelty be back sooner!

Great food as always. Have been a fan of their Mt Eden store for many years but living on the Shore it was a bit of a drive. But Takapuna is perfect, great parking, super friendly staff and allergen knowledgeable. It's perfect if you're dining with people who are gluten free or dairy free or low carb (or another allergy) as they can easily customise the dishes. So many options and always delicious!

I had such a wonderful experience here. Only one woman was serving food when I arrived. I had never been to a pita pit and was trying to make sure I could order gluten free (coeliac disease) - she was so kind and helpful, very calm. She was meticulous with using clean surfaces and avoiding cross contamination for me. I was pleasantly surprised! The gluten free wraps are what they are - they go a bit pasty / soggy and disintegrate if you don't eat them immediately, but I can't blame Pita Pit for that haha. Taste is good and good range of gf fillings :)
