I’d avoid the GF bun it’s very dry and crumbly but they the most celiac safe place I know! Dedicated fryers, very knowledgeable staff and amazing GF fried chicken! When you order online they even have a celiac option to check off.
We were here from Ontario, and read that they served gluten free burgers and fries (my wife and son both have Celiac Disease). They were delicious!! Best burger and fries they've had, and my other two sons and I both loved our non gluten free burgers too. We all liked everything so much we came back a second time during our visit! Excellent and friendly service. Highly recommend!
Great food, great portions, super friendly staff, and amazing gluten free batter! Have been to 2 locations and both were perfect! Will definitely be back!
This place is a hidden gem. A women owned business which serves delicious vegan options. Restaurant does not have huge seating space but can accommodate a group of 6-8.
We tried Bombay Bad Boy pizza and were surprised with flavor. I will highly recommend trying "Almond Cassava" crust; it is gluten free but not too hard or crispy.
Definitely worth visiting if you are vegan/vegetarian food lover or, interested in trying vegan food.
First time here in years! I remember coming for their grand opening and back when they introduced their Hawaiian plates! Had a decent poke bowl (I built my own mini guy). I will say their portions were less than what I remembered from my first impressions. My bowl came to $14.18 including tax, which had a base, a sauce, 1 protein option (you pay by the scoop and my salmon was $3), 3 sides, and 1 crunch. It's drastically different compared to say, Steve's Poke Bar, where you can choose unlimited sides for a similar price. I always find it odd when a poke shop limits customers' number of "crunches" as the cost must be so minor to produce - items like furikake, fried onions, fried garlic, sesame seeds, etc. It would go a long way to allow people to have more than one as a topper. The sesame mayo sauce was great and I was told it didn't have dairy (milk/eggs) in it. I had the shoyu Atlantic salmon, with corn, edamame, and imitation crab.
On the plus side, the staff were kind and patient as I ordered. I was asking about items with gluten/dairy due to a sensitivity, and they seemed to know their menu. They get quite a few online orders through delivery apps, as most people during a weekday lunch hour took their food to-go.
Love this new healthy spot close to home.
Had the chick pea gluten free wrap it was great and didn’t fall apart like most gluten free items. Highly recommend!!
One of the tastiest hot wing sauces i've ever had and those pizza croissant.Things were really really delicious. Even my gluten intolerant girlfriend scarfed it down and loved it
The staff at W. BROADWAY consistently screw up orders that endanger people with celiac health allergies. What’s the point of offering gluten free buns when almost every single time we order gluten free, we almost always get buns with gluten that make my partner unwell?! This is a MAJOR health concern for someone who is seriously celiac and accidentally eats gluten due to Tera staff’s carelessness. Not only can they not eat the food, but we just wasted a good amount of money only for them to go hungry.
Not only that, but when we walked in to pick up our order tonight, the person behind the counter was on her phone and didn’t even turn around until I cleared my throat.
Two stars for good menu, minus two stars for consistently screwing up the gluten-free orders, minus one star for slow and poor service.
I am gluten free and I am obsessed with Megabite. But $5 extra for gluten free is just way too much. It comes out to over $30 for a medium pizza. It hurts having to be gluten free, it hurts even more to pay exorbitant amounts for less food that doesn’t taste as good as the original. I had to stop ordering from here a while ago. Used to order at least 1x week but being a celiac is tough especially with extra charges on top rising prices 😥. I used to manage restaurants and although I know it’s important to make money, I know for a fact it does not cost $5 extra to make GF pizza crust. It just feels exploitative at this point. I love you Megabite. I miss you.
The store is dirty. The tables need a good clean. Some still had food scapes on them. They asked me if the sauce would be ok. My response I don’t know without reading the label you will need to check, I wouldn’t bother even going here.
I needed a gluten free option in a pinch and the staff was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. They have gluten free buns with they toasted on the grill, not in the toaster, to avoid cross contamination. The frier at this location isn’t gluten free.
I love ordering off their website because it has better deals than any of the delivery apps. The gluten free is phenomenal, love the added texture of sesame seeds and the choices for veggie are better than anywhere else. I ordered and not even 20 mins later it was at my door at peak hours. Love Uncle Fatih
Ordered the turkey dinner from here- super delicious and super healthy! As someone who has a gluten allergy, it was awesome to be able to eat a Christmas dinner and not worry about it AND it be excellent! Will definitely recommend to others!
Always so happy to come here. Everyone is super helpful and friendly and the food is always delicious. The only place in the city to get a gluten-free pita!!!
I’m really glad I stopped here with my family for lunch. The staff were helpful and answered all my questions. We ordered a small garlic chicken pizza, small spicy chicken pizza and veggie lovers (gluten free small pizza). The entire order was made quickly and tasted very good with fresh ingredients and a soft dough. They also had some dipping sauces on the side. Would have been awesome if they had small containers to place them in, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. All in all one of the best pizza places I’ve had in a very long time!
We came here on a Friday night. The place was clean and welcoming.
Foods pricing and portions were on par, plus we noticed the meats in our wraps were very moist and juicy. The sauces were very fresh too.
We ordered gluten free pouting on the side and didn't notice any surpluses oiliness or grease that some other reviewers complained about with the fried food.
Overall, the food was excellent and we would come back. We also recently ate at zam zam grill and Sher Donair's offerings are better in every way.
Tried placing an order through doordash, but there was no option for gluten-free bun. When I called and asked, they told me to select an option that didn't even exist, a "half hot dog" and specify in the special instructions that I want a gluten free bun. Apparently I couldn't just use the special instructions option on the burger because I have to pay extra for the bun, whatever.
But they promptly hung up before I could ask any further questions or clarify what they were asking wasn't even possible.
Terrible service, took my business else where.
I’m not a fast food fan but Fatburger is different! The care and attention that is put into the burgers is amazing. So delicious and you can’t beat a classic burger like this. I’m gluten free and a lettuce wrap burger is one of the most affordable lunches in the city! Delicious 😋
WOW! These gourmet pizzas are so loaded! Layered deep with delicious toppings. 5 stars!
Our gluten free pizza was an absolute delight. Superb GF choices and so tasty! Excellent customer service, too! Will definitely be ordering again. Best pizza delivery in Vancouver!
I often grab a quick lunch here, almost everything’s GF except the tortilla wraps. Allergen menu is clearly labelled and I’ve previously asked them to change gloves and take fresh food from the fridge to avoid cross contamination
excellent value. commercial sushi proves that cheap doesn't have to equal low quality. they have a wide variety of items to choose from, including a few wild items. the staff are friendly but not overbearing, which is what I prefer. the place gets v busy tho, so be prepared to wait if you come during a peak time, or simply order to go. the staff respect my dietary restrictions, tho they lack knowledge on gluten content in their food. (I have to ask about specific ingredients, which as a patron becomes exhausting. so I eat what I know.)
They may offer a gluten free bun but can’t follow directions and that’s a warning they have bigger problems in the kitchen. I asked for no onions and they put fried onions which I am allergic to in it and we’re dismissive. Came back after I found a few and walked out. Can’t trust the staff much less the kitchen with cross contamination and ordering.
Not only are their burgers delicious, they're safe for people with celiac disease AND they have a dedicated fryer for their French fries! I always get the basic smash in a lettuce wrap and it's so fricken tasty! It's so hard to find places that cater to people with celiac or gluten allergies let alone a bar that has fries we can eat! Way to go super smash burgers! You're a superstar!
