Fries are fried in a separate frier. Not sure about the rest of the menu, but have had both the normal and truffle fries here and they were delicious with no issues!

Sometimes ugly ducklings surprise: the restaurant looks quite inconspicuous inside and out. Like a typical country inn. Inside you will be greeted by a facility whose 90s feeling is underlined with the right choice of music. It sometimes seems a bit old-fashioned and outdated.
"BUT": Everything else is absolutely great. Great food, nice service, good selection, fair prices. And what makes me personally very happy: gluten-free cordon bleu!
My wife has celiac disease and it can be really difficult to find a suitable restaurant.
We had a relaxing lunch on the outdoor patio. It was a treat to know everything on the menu is gluten-free. My daughter with celiac loved the home-made chicken nuggets. The schnitzel was also good and the seasoned french fries. The mixed salad with house dressing was delicious, too, and they provided a small basket of GF bread that was also homemade and so tasty!
We were too full for dessert but want to go back for the GF Berliner.
Good food and atmosphere!
We visited this place on a Saturday night, we found good ambience and mood. There was music but not too loud, so it was easy to talk.
We ordered some dishes to share and we were not disappointer by the quality, they were all very nice and tasty (especially the tacos and nachos).
The only thing that left us surprised was the portions, not proportioned to the price for all the dishes, in our opinion.
Additionally, we were assured by the waiter that almost all the dishes were gluten free and with no risk of cross-contamination (they only have 1 dish that comes with bread and another with pita, but I was told that they pay attention), making it suitable for celiacs!
We'll be back for sure to try the drinks!
The food (including the gluten-free option) was delicious and anything but run-of-the-mill. Vegetarians also get their money's worth. The garden terrace is lovely with its large shady trees. But the benches without cushions make it a disaster for long periods of time. The service was friendly, but totally inefficient. There were three of them for seven garden tables (the restaurant inside was empty). They stood around, preferred folding napkins to bringing us menus and drinks, and for dessert, the gluten-free sorbet had a biscuit stuck in it. That shouldn't happen with guests who have celiac disease.
