We were on vacation in Debrecen with my family for a few days, and we ordered our dinner from them twice.
I am the only one in the family who is gluten-sensitive, which is why we chose them.
Ordering by phone went smoothly, the courier arrived on time with our order, which was prepared very deliciously both times, and the quantity was also a generous portion.
I am extremely satisfied, I recommend that anyone who is gluten-sensitive should definitely try it.
Pros:
- They offer gluten free dishes and they use a separate oven for the gluten free pizza. However, when asked they told us they can’t guarantee there is no cross contamination. So if you’re celiac, this might not be the place for you
Cons:
- We tried the spaghetti carbonara and the gluten free pizza but both tasted awful. The spaghetti carbonara was served with another type of pasta and the sauce had nothing to do with carbonara. It was edible but far from enjoyable. The pizza’s base would have been fine but the tomate sauce was extremely salty so all you could taste is the salt. I never leave food on my plate but this time I had to
- The service was okay, professional but also a bit cold
- They close at 9PM which I find pretty early even for Hungarian standards
Overall, I can’t recommend this place even if you have limited options due to gluten allergy.
We went here for the first time today but not the last! Super nice and professional service, delicious and generous portions at a reasonable price! Finally a place where a gluten-sensitive person can eat everything. Thank you very much.

Great place in Budapest! The food was delicious, well-prepared, and fast. I really appreciated how the staff understood my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free) — I felt totally safe eating here. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, and the lemonade (especially with elderflower and mint) was refreshing and spot on. Friendly service and a nice outdoor terrace atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend for a relaxed, allergy-aware meal in the city.
Delicious gluten-free Langosh Hungarian style.
Very close to the center and with a really wide option of gluten-free sandwiches and other dishes, this is a great place to go try some typical Hungarian gluten-free dishes that are not easy to find in a safe environment free of cross-contamination.
It's a cozy place and the staff is very nice. Food allergies are carefully considered. You can also get very delicious gluten-free pancakes, which I have never found anywhere before.
This year's updated menu offers varied, delicious dishes at fair prices.
Parking is possible next to the restaurant.
I can only suggest!
I wanted to eat gluten-free and vegan hambi. Unfortunately, as it turned out, the part of the vegan burger is not GM. I said that, unfortunately, it's a problem, because I'm not asking for free buns so that there is flour in the burger. Then I did the math on what I could eat (I have a food allergy).
Then it should be beetroot steak, but instead of couscous it will be something else (because couscous is wheat). Alright then, we'll have French fries. Well, it turned out to be gluten-free. Another option came, with a question as to whether it would be okay to bake it in the same place as the gluten-free options. I say, but unfortunately it's a problem, please don't let it be. Ok, another option, then there will be parsley potatoes. By chance (from experience) I asked him if it wasn't milk? Yes, it is made in butter. Why is it wrong? I said yes, unfortunately butter is a problem, as I am allergic.
We had a hard time deciding that the beetroot steak would be served with rice (however, life blesses the waitress, she was very cute and always tried to come back with all the information). I got the food but it was awful. The rice was also lame, and the beets were nowhere near meeting the spices or anything else. My partner also tasted it, he was also traumatized. Neither salt nor pepper helped him.
It's amazing that in today's world, a restaurant has no idea what a food sensitivity is like and that to this day they think that just because something is vegan, it must be junk and no spices are allowed. If it doesn't work, then it's better not to advertise that there is a vegan menu, even if a bread with margarine is tastier than it.
Impressive interior! Very cute design. Never have seen anything like this. We enjoyed our dinner here: good service, tasty food, and lots of cocktails to choose from! They have a good wine menu too, including both cheap and expensive options. They were able to accommodate Gluten Free options: instead of pita they serve cucumbers that you can enjoy alongside with the traditional Jewish dishes like hummus and etc.
