Jack Allen's is legit one of the best places in Austin. We've been a fan for years, and they've even catered our wedding back in 2011 when they used to do that. Jack's menu has stood the test of time. Their specials are fantastic, and when they found out the margaritas has gluten in them (my wife is allergic) they even changed their recipe for it. Hands down great value. You can seat 2 adults, two kids, appetizers, drinks, and dessert for far more reasonable prices than "trendy" places who either charge more or dont have nearly as good food. If you don't like Jack's, your standards are wrong and I suggest you just move back to LA where at least you can feel important about it.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and tried the orange beef, king pao chicken, gluten-free dumplings, and cabbage salad. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I love this place! Tons of gluten free options, very flavorful. I have not had one bad dish. The blue corn bread is to die for!
