With one burger being amazing and the other bad, it was a weird review to write. I went during lunch and things came out of the kitchen pretty quickly. So I had one burger that was really amazing though missing ingredients, no caramelized onion- the Justin's Burger. The pimento cheese was shockingly good. Order it if you go. They had gluten free buns which is a huge plus in my book. Then another burger was bad, the Mushroom burger that was bad and made my mouth itch, and only had a sprinkling of ingredients in one bite of the entire burger, again onions. They use canola to fry so I didn't get tots, which was a bummer. It causes extra inflammation in the body, and because I was already eating a not super healthy meal, I decided to not push it. Staff also did this weird thing where this guy went to go get information about something for me because I am in the allergy club, a different guy came up in his stead, then the original guy came back. They are not the same height and didn't really look alike. I let it go because I thought maybe they wanted to make sure there was no delays in help but neither acknowledged it. You can see and hear the kitchen staff, so they might want to be more mindful of trash talk. Especially regarding any patrons. There is no wall and we can hear you. I loved that they gave me a cup to get water and the water from their soda machine actually tasted like normal water, no remnants of soap or soda. I was siked. They have bar seating to the right, and to the left a row of tables. Many people sat inside to eat, but I took my food to go, and it remained warm by the time I got back, which was a nice plus. Since I loved one and did not like the other at all, not sure what to say about the Roxy's in Cambridge.

This is the only Italian restaurant I go to in Boston, their food is the only that compares to my mom and grandparents’ cooking. The staff is always friendly, even during rushes. There are some delicious vegetarian and gluten free options if you have dietary restrictions. Parking is tough in this area, you’ll likely have to find a metered space and walk to the restaurant.

I will DEFINITELY be returning to Shabu-Zen. Where do I start? Our waiter, Ze, was funny, helpful, and very attentive to my gluten allergy. He checked the menu to make sure everything we ordered was gluten free. He gave us delicious suggestions. We had the Tom Yum and Kimchi broths, which were so tasty! Unfortunately, the Sichuan broth had gluten in it, so that we couldn't have that, but I'm delighted with the two flavors we got. We also ordered a new flavor of Soju that was yogurt flavored. It was the perfect pairing with the food! Now that it's getting colder, Shabu-Zen is the perfect place to visit.

SO DELICIOUS! I asked for his recommendation and got rice, butter chicken, hummus and baba ghanoush. I've literally never had baba ghanoush I liked and couldn't stop eating this it was that good. Somehow the cold leftovers tasted even better. Although not advertised, I was told that many of their dishes are naturally gluten free!
