We really enjoyed this place. It's not any more expensive than I would expect for a fresh seafood place in Maine. The lobster roll was fantastic. Thick flaky chunks of lobster, cooked really well. They were also really good about working with you on allergies. I have a dairy allergy and my in-laws have gluten allergies. There was something for all of us and we all enjoyed it very much.
I go there at least once every week I have celiac and have never gotten sick from the gluten free burgers everyone is so nice and the food is amazing never once had a problem with the place best burgers I have had in a long time
What a delightful discovery! Pacifico in Saco offers plenty of parking and an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone the moment you walk in. The open layout and stylish décor create a warm, welcoming vibe. Our server, Jordan, was fantastic—knowledgeable and attentive—guiding us through an incredible dining experience. We started with the craft drink of the night and explored the final day of their seasonal menu, which featured numerous gluten-free options. To start, we shared a beautifully presented tiradito—cold salmon with leche de tigre de ají Amarillo, Peruvian corn, and quinoa. Alongside, the ensalada with cherry tomatoes, onions, burrata, and a blueberry balsamic vinaigrette was both fresh and flavorful. For the main course, we enjoyed arroz frito loaded with broccoli, zucchini, chicken, and beef. The portions were generous—enough to take some home! And we couldn't resist finishing with a smooth, rich panna cotta. Pacifico has earned a top spot on our list, and we’ll definitely be back this fall. If you're searching for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere, don’t miss this spot!
Came in and ordered a gluten free sandwich. They were very busy before the holiday, which I understand, but I don’t think that’s an excuse for poor quality of food. The sandwich that I ordered was drowning in mayo Which made it taste really bad. There was barely any meat on it. There was like one slice of turkey. And it cost $18. I definitely will not be going back.
Hearty, Local, Family Restaurant 🐓
The Golden Rooster is a main street kitchen: The service staff move fast, but stop to chat; breakfast comes out hot and tasty, no matter how busy it is; and my coffee cup somehow managed to be always magically filled✨️: Bonus, they have gluten-free toast. 😊
The best place to go for fresh seafood. My husband and I have been coming here for years, and it is a must stop while vacationing in Maine. They are excellent with my Gluten allergy, and the servers are just so authentically friendly and down to earth.
Huot’s is a wonderful, family friendly establishment, with great service and delicious food. Their menu has a good variety of items on it. I highly recommend the lobster rolls and the clam cakes. They also have gluten free options on the menu as well, which feels very inclusive for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They also have live music occasionally in the outdoor seating area, which is always a nice touch. I’ve been going there for years now, and I can truly say it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Maine.
Solid brunch spot, public parking nearby. I have a gluten allergy & they were able to accommodate, very safely. I ordered the apple cider mimosa & an Irish Benny on GF toast.
