Celiacs beware!! I visited this restaurant for the first time last Friday in the hopes of enjoying some yummy GF pasta. I'm allergic to both wheat and gluten so I don't eat pasta often, however I saw signage on store front offering Gluten Free options - excited to try it out I went inside and spoke with someone in food prep. I asked the young woman preparing my food what they use in their GF noodles (rice, corn, garbanzo, etc.) and she did not know nor did she care to find out. Against my better judgement, I still proceeded to order because frankly I was hungry. Once my order was ready, I asked the person in food prep again, (just to be sure) that my order was in fact GF. She replied that it was and how she made sure to use the GF noodles for my meal. Unfortunately, it was not GF, and I was sick most of the night (I ate dinner around 4pm that day). I will never return to this restaurant and I would strongly advise other Celiacs to stay away.

I work just up the road and this place has become my go-to spot for lunch. All of the meals I’ve tried have been excellent, plus the service is quick and the staff is kind. Even “medium” spicy can bring some decent heat with their dishes so be aware if you are spice sensitive. But the flavors of their dishes are delicious and very distinct. I’ve tried 10+ Indian cuisine spots in the city and this place eclipses them all in my humble opinion. The menu is also restriction friendly if you are gluten intolerant etc. The Bhindi Masala and Vegetable Jalfrezi are my favorites
