South Lane Bistro has been our favorite Shoreline restaurant since it opened! We feel like family the minute we step in the door. We are immediately greeted by their friendly staff, and two of the owners, Ariel and Walter, always make a point to come over to our table, no matter how busy they are! The coastal barn atmosphere is an integral a part of the warm, relaxed vibe this restaurant offers! South Lane is a mandatory visit when our adult children come into town because it's everybody's favorite! We love their burgers (with a Thimble Island beer!), but we're also partial to their seafood specials and Super Kale Salad. One of our children has celiac, and the staff and kitchen work together to provide many gluten free options- which we also greatly appreciate. ~Awesome owners, wonderful staff and delicious food!! It’s a local gem! Done

The staff was knowledgeable about the allergens contained in different menu items, and gave me suggestions of what to try for my wife, who is vegan and gluten free. We ended up getting a cheese pizza add bacon, and the lasagna (all gluten free and vegan), and it was AMAZING. In the four years we've been together, and the many cities we've traveled to, we haven't come across vegan Italian food as good as the food here. We can't wait to go back!

Moonshots is my go-to when I need a health boost (which is like every other day - oops). But seriously, the juices are wonderful. I feel better after drinking them. Moonshots makes their own almond milk and they have awesome seasonal flavors. I have a million food sensitivities, and they have vegan and gluten free options for just about everything on their menu. Somehow, their avocado toast is about 10000% better than I could ever make at home. My very picky 5 year old LOVES the chocolate protein balls. That is a huge win in my book. Speaking of books, they have a really cool set up inside. Old books, an old rotary phone, cool greenery on the walls. The decor is on point. My current favorite thing at Moonshots is the Pumpkin Pie smoothie. It actually tastes like frozen liquid pumpkin pie. The owner and employees are so friendly (and funny!). Go there if you want a chill vibe and feel good about what you’re putting in your body!

This place is such a hidden gem. Delicious food and good gluten free options. Honestly one of the best burgers in Guilford! Sitting outside in when it is nice out is peaceful and relaxing and the outdoor furniture is pleasantly comfortable!
