This place has a really awesome vibe and overall the food is pretty good (some items are over salted and some under salted), food comes out hot and fresh, each item as soon as it's ready. However...food isn't clearly labeled with ingredients for allergens or dietary concerns. Great job on having gluten free options but watch out for surprise pork options. Management offered a replacement item but it was already the last item to come out on a multi item order and we were ready to leave and did not want to stay longer.

Welcoming, excellent food, & exceptional service!! We were looking for gluten free & vegetarian options and Steampunk Cafe had it all! Our server, Kaylie, was so friendly & attentive. Our food was fresh and hot & we all enjoyed! The atmosphere is warm & friendly. Definitely recommend!!

Brisket was lean and had great taste! This was during Tehachapi Mountain Fest and we ate at the restaurant. Service with a smile and great attitude. Pulled pork, excellent! Loved the sweet and mild BBQ sauce, couldn't decide which was better, so mixed them and used both. They also had amazing gluten free options, THANK YOU!! Thoroughly enjoyed the bourbon sweet potatoes.
