If you are vegan and/or gluten free, this place has NO options. There is only one thing on the menu that i could eat... the salad. :( which tasted ok. Nothing to shout about and for $24 way too small and expensive. No bread (not that i could eat it). I was disappointed as i was hungry. There are not many food places around the area anyway and i had really hoped that i can get a nice meal here, as it looks high-end. They didn’t have a menu outside and no internet. So i couldn’t check beforehand. It was dark, foggy and cold outside, so can’t even say i at least enjoyed the view. Regretted walking in the moment i saw the menu.

I had high expectations for my second visit to this restaurant in Big Sur after an incredible first experience. The charming atmosphere, kind staff, and delicious food made me want to share this gem with my friends. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to my previous one. We went on a Sunday, and the place was extremely crowded, making parking difficult. We waited at least 30 minutes to be seated. Once at our table, we noticed that the glasses and utensils had an odd egg-like smell—possibly a dishwasher issue. We had to ask twice for extra napkins, and my gluten-free bagel for the Eggs Benedict was forgotten. To make things worse, I later realized the bacon was missing as well. When the check arrived, some item prices didn’t match what we had seen on the menu, so we had to ask for a menu to verify and correct the charges. While I still love the setting and hope this was just an off day, the inconsistencies made this visit disappointing.

One of the few restaurants in big sur without long waits , quick service and options in menu varied enough that it caters to most everyone. They had a live band setting up for the night too. Dinner service was decent but left a few gaps. The hostess was not bad but not welcoming either. They were asked for Minor modification to food( adding two veggies to pizza when they have the make your own pizza in menu) to which I never received a response and pizza then arrived without the mods. I am okay with not getting the mod due to the kitchen being busy or just no mod policy but a simple yes or no response would have gone far. Lastly the gluten free crust was either damp and falling apart or hard enough to be used as weapon where the sauce didn't touch. Sure it meets the bar of gluten free pizza but wouldn't return.

An amazing atmosphere with air purifiers at every table. The staff is super nice, attentive, and accommodating to each and every order. My wife and I have severe Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, and Soy allergy and they completely accommodated us through all four courses of our meal with no issues at all. They were able to substitute items as well instead of removing them which made us feel very special and created a super personalized experience.

Went for lunch and had limited menu but good gluten free options and tasty food and drinks with great Cali vibe set high on the hill overlooking the sea on the patio.
