Went here for fish and chips after a 5 hour drive for work meeting the following day. Reviews are so spot on for this place. The guys are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Decided to eat in rather than take them back to the hotel - served piping hot on a plate with cutlery. Checked everything was okay - not in a pushy way - and genuinely caredthat everything was okay. Chips are homemade and really nice Fish is fried to order, piping hot, batter is light and very tasty so doesn't sit heavy and fish was amazing. Had mushy peas and they didn't disappoint. Highly recommend everything about this place and will definitely be back next time I'm here for work!! Might even try the gluten free battery next time!

Absolutely incredible!! We highly recommend this restaurant. Friendly lady who served us, she helped me with my gluten allergy and delivered the perfect level of service. Hospitality was impeccable and atmosphere was great too. We will definitely be back to visit.

We have visited the restaurant on many occasions. My wife is Coeliac and they have always been very hands on with allergens and with The Glass Onion. The food is always of a high standard and the staff helpful. My only disappointment today was with my Ribeye steak I did not receive any chips.
