A 'store' with these types of tight opening hours/days cannot be called a real store. People with celiac disease or gluten intolerance also like to eat fresh products. Little to no competition seems to lead to this kind of arbitrariness.
The best GF bagels I have ever tried, but the inly thing is that u can’t have any of them with eggs cause the eggs pan goes inside the oven and they cant guarantee to avoid the cross contamination but thats only for the egg bagels ..love u celiacs out there ❤️
A nice little place that has gluten free, dairy free, vegan and organic treats: cakes, brownies, cheesecakes and more.
It was great to be able to get a couple of desserts for myself instead of just watching my family eat them whilst on holiday in Amsterdam. I got the strawberry cheesecake- so nice to be able to eat this, they don't do it in the UK- and a chocolate and coconut dessert; both were amazing!
My family members had a mocha hazelnut dessert which was great and a carrot cake, which tasted nice but was a little dense.
Wonderful gluten free bagels here! If you want them to be celiac safe you have to get them untoasted, but it was still tasty with the BLT. Love that they have vegan cream cheese as well.
Excellent meal and great desserts. I love to the Wizard of Oz themed restaurant too. Great location by the tram stop and Rijksmuseum.
Katerina , our server, was very helpful with our gluten free needs.
Family trip with dog, short stop at Happy Pig. Got super tasty pancakes. Great iced lattes. gluten-free and vegan no problem. Thanks also for the great service. Ruby, the dog, also thanks you for the fresh water.
The food was delicious, there are also vegan and gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the gluten-free option is not vegan. The waiter was friendly and super fast. The kitchen is open and gives a clean and nice impression. People will enjoy eating here again.
Nice little brunch spot with a decent amount of indoor seating. They offer a fully customizable bagel menu with lots of gluten free and vegan options. Everything tasted fresh, clean and delicious!
Gluten free options. The staff also asks about allergies and tries very hard to avoid contamination. My sister: nut allergy, me: celiac
We were still a bit disappointed with our bagles, which didn't look anything like the pictures and a little more vegetables on mine wouldn't have hurt. I ordered exactly the same as my sister. An avocado bagle, just gluten-free. I got a warm bagle that I was allowed to spread on myself. It's understandable that it might be difficult to prepare gluten-free bagles without contamination under some conditions, but at least a little salad with them wouldn't have hurt. My sister had cucumbers as a side dish with her bagle. I didn't even have that
For some reason we felt nauseous after eating it.
The drinks were good
Price performance ratio... meh

This was not the case when I was there a week ago, asking if there is a vegan option. There was nothing vegan on the menu, and the staff was unwilling to make an adjustment, so our group of friends had to find some place else to go :(
Too bad as the place looks lovely, but definitely not vegan friendly.
I was delighted to find stroopwafels here that were both gluten-free and lactose-free. Really great taste! I'd 100% recommend, especially for anybody looking for gluten-free/lactose-free options.
I visited Bagels and Beans for lunch on the way to Vondelpark after visiting at another location in the city the previous day. One reason that we chose this cafe was due to its ability to accommodate for gluten-free guests. The service was quick and efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the pesto, mozzarella and tomato bagel with Everything Bagel seasoning and the passionfruit smoothie! My friends enjoyed the BLT and the salmon bagel. The ingredients were tasty, fresh and full of flavour. The cafe was clean, bright and nicely decorated.
I recently had a great dinner at Bier- en Wijncafé De Keet, and I can only recommend this experience. The food was exquisite, with well-balanced flavors and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere in the café is warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening out.
What was particularly striking was the attention to gluten-free options. The staff was well informed and really thought along, which is a huge plus for people with dietary requirements. This gives a feeling of confidence and completes the enjoyment.
In addition, the selection of beers and wines is excellent. The employees are happy to help you with a suitable choice, which makes the experience even more special.
In short: a wonderful culinary experience, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommended!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Tapioka Flatbreads were amazing. We ate the chicken and the tuna…🌮I‘ll miss this taste when I’m back home!! 100% recommended.
All flatbreads are gluten free!
The matcha latte and daily soup (onion soup on this day) were delicious😋❣️
The bread that came with the soup was changed to gluten-free bread 🍞
Moreover, the gluten-free bread went really well with the soup and was delicious💛
The sweets that came with the drink (coconut balls?) were also really delicious and I liked them 🥰❣️
The inside of the store was cute, clean, and very comfortable.
The people at the shop were also very kind 😊
I'll come again~🇳🇱🩷
Very tasty ice cream flavors. We were particularly pleased that everyone there is very experienced in dealing with celiac disease and our son was also able to get ice cream in a gluten-free waffle. To prevent traces of gluten, the ice cream was brought fresh from behind. We felt super good and safe. Thanks for that! Absolutely recommended for people who have to avoid gluten for health reasons and the taste is simply great.
What was also great was the entire organization. Despite the often very long queues, everything went smoothly and quickly. We'd love to come back.
Such a beautiful place. The staff are amazing and very knowledgeable of allergies. I liked it so much here that I had my breakfast here every day of my trip. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam especially anyone with gluten free diets. Absolutely delicious!

They have a specific Gluten Free menu, which is why I went here and it looked great, with plenty of options (vegan dishes also). I took the Pad Thai, which was a good platefull of rice noodles, vegetables, chicken, ground nuts and some kind of light sauce. I write this review the next day and can happily say that it was in fact gluten free.
Because it was Sunday and there were events around, they put the music loud and it took a lot of time to get the servicestaff to help me initially. Later on they were more noticable around the room. Order by QR code or with the waiter.
Note that cross-contamination is still in a disclaimer on the menu.
All in all, I will definitely come here again before a concert for a bite to eat and a drink.
If I were to describe this restaurant in one word it would be “Mashallah”.
The gluten-free bagel was very tasty, attention is paid to gluten contamination. 😸
Good bagel quality (also gluten free bagel options!) and nice variety of toppings on the bagels and other pastries/cakes. Can get quite crowded and busy and takes awhile to get your order. Drinks are given immediately when you order (which is why the line can take awhile). I recommend the BLT on everything, and the cinnamon rolls. The prices are ok but it’s amsterdam so everything is expensive.

Chicken Taco was DELICIOUS! The meal came so quickly… They labeled all the gluten-free meals on the menu:) felt very welcomed.
I only ate the taco but the Gluten Free meals are Tacos, Ceviches, bowls, and snacks such nachos.. they even have an Mexican chocolate corn cake!
Beautiful Bagels & Beans, friendly staff and delicious (gluten-free) lunch! Although I still miss the ham bagel, the 'Mozzarella di bufala' bagel tasted very good.
What an authentic experience this place offers!
Organic, vegan, sugar free, gluten free food and sweet treats, as well as warm beverages and shakes. Everything is prepared with a lot of care. The place is cozy and very welcoming. ❤️
Consistently best Caesar Salad in Amsterdam for over a year, including 4 & 5 star hotels! Helpful & friendly staff, Gluten free dishes (for my wife). Great atmosphere, lovely!
This was a really nice place to sit and have a coffee. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The coffee was a bit bitter for my personal taste, but the hot chocolate was delicious 😋. I have also had a refreshing light in texture red berry smoothie on another occasion that was also nice. A gluten free tart or stroop waffle would have made the experience even better as I was peckish. Although I was unable to get anything gluten free to eat, but I still think its a good place to sit. Inside or out (weather permitting).
We have been coming to Bagels & Beans regularly for at least 10 years and at least twice a month for the past 2 years (I looked at my banking app and in 12 months we spent 790 Euro on Bagels & Beans). So far we have always had a great experience, but last weekend they seemed to have forgotten us even though only 1/3 of the restaurant was full. We waited at least 30 minutes for our order to be taken and another 25 minutes for our bagels. I had a wild salmon Japanese style bagel, which was served with only lettuce leaves. So no wasabi mayonnaise, no sesame seaweed shreds and no cucumber. It was bone dry, also because I had requested a gluten-free bagel. My husband had a warm Bali bagel, which was okay.
We remained friendly and the service was also friendly, but this was not a positive experience. Still ** due to previous positive experiences.
We had a nice meal with the three of us, but there were a lot of flies inside. There were also pigeons that came in, but of course no one could do anything about this. The staff here was friendly and could handle the crowds well. What I also liked is that they were well informed about gluten-free food. This always makes it easier to have a nice lunch.
Found nice Bagels & Beans with of course the most delicious bagels in the Netherlands. It is a great location on the NDSM to chill out and have a meal. I eat gluten-free myself and that is no problem, unlike a lot of other eateries. So 5 stars!
