We recently visited Tipsy Cow in Woodinville and ordered **The Rockstar** burger—three of them, including one gluten-free option. Given the enticing menu description—brew-battered and fried bacon, maple syrup, Tillamook aged white cheddar cheese, fried egg, lettuce, and tipsy sauce—We had high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the hype.
The burgers were small and lacked any real flavor, which was surprising given the ingredients listed. The gluten-free version didn’t offer much improvement, either. Additionally, the environment was loud, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.
Almost turned the car around for a second helping! So absolutely fabulous. GLUTEN FREE WAFFLE CONES = OMGODDESS! Vegan scoops were crazy good and I'm pretty much the opposite of vegan. Seriously CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY with FUDGE SWIRL in a COCONUT-based ice cream. This was perhaps the best ice cream experience I've ever had.
Best pizza in my opinion because they make it just like you want with all the toppings. No extra charge. They also have gluten free crusts that are out if this world! ❤️😃🙏✌️
First time here. We had a group of 5 and called ahead, pleasantly surprised that we got sat faster than the host predicted. The waitress was accommodating and we did a small taster before deciding which glass of wine to order. I had the roast beef sandwich on gluten free bread. Very happy with the service as she checked on us several times.
Went with husband here for birthday dinner. It was the exact thing we were looking for- good food, nothing too fancy, great service with staff who pay attention and are good at that they do. We have a toddler at home and don't go out often, so having a nice night where the experience was so good meant everything.
I have Celiacs, and they have probably the best gluten free burger buns I've tried so far. GF buns usually fall apart really easily, but mine held up to a juicy lamb burger and the frizzled shallots on top were delish. When I ordered the burger with a GF bun the server asked if it was allergy or preference- I said allergy and she let me know the fries could be cross contaminated since they aren't prepared in a dedicated fryer. This shows that they and the restaurant really care and are paying attention. I wound up going for them anyway because it's a birthday treat but I so appreciated the thought.
I also ordered the side kale Cesar salad, the server verified no croutons with me, and it was simply perfect. My husband had the beet poblano burger and really liked it. We split the fried pickles and the buttermilk ranch it came with was so good.
Because I'd mentioned I was going to risk the fries as a birthday treat, the server came out at the end with a vanilla ice cream sundae in a small mason jar, with strawberries and fudge around the rim- with a candle in it! Ice cream was rich and creamy, really yummy.
We each had a shot of Woodford reserve double oak bourbon, and a cider and a stout. The whiskey offerings were varied (both rye and bourbon) and there were at least 20 options each.
Really loved it, and we ate in the bar side in the sunroom. Perfect for two harried parents trying to enjoy a few casual but special hours away :)
Great tasting food, with items available gluten free, and safe for this Celiac. The birria tacos were delicious and I didn't get sick at all! Note that not all of the items labeled gluten free actually are, so make sure to ask questions. In other words, the chips are cross contaminated in a shared fryer so they aren't safe.
I like zeeks pizza but had serious issues with our dinner at this location. The appetizer was over salted to the point of inedible, they brought a regular crust instead of the ordered gluten free (a big deal to screw up and no apologies), and screwed up the bill.
Great experience. Food was good and staff was friendly!! I loved the salmon eggs Benedict and the gluten free pancakes! I highly recommend the Woodinville cafe.
We were a party of 4 and each enjoyed a different dinner. Especially as one of our party had to do gluten free and the waitress was very accomodating with questions!
I took my son here for lunch. I ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken was over cooked and extremely dry. The bun was also overcooked and wasn't worth eating. I was very disappointed. It was our first time to the restaurant and we had high expectations. Our food took over 40 minutes to arrive. My son ordered the lamb sandwich on gluten-free bread. He enjoyed his meal, I wish I could say the same.
We went here with a mixed group including some vegans (including me!) and some gluten free folks. There were great options for all of us and everybody really enjoyed their meal. We've been back a couple times. Love this place!
We dined outside on the patio with our puppy and another couple with their dog. To our surprise, our server was Jayma from Rikki Rikki back in the day! Excellent service and even water for the pups. The guac/cheese dip with tortilla chips is awesome. They were able to grill my fish tacos since I can't have gluten. Above and beyond service and great atmosphere!
Came in after work on a Friday to see live music. The place was busy for Happy Hour (HH), but still able to find a table for 2. 45 mins after HH ended, the place cleared out by 50%. Ordered the double-patty smash burger, and it was DELICIOUS. It's not often you find a properly-done smash burger -- WELL seasoned beef, nice crisp edges. Meat was NOT overcooked. Nice melty American cheese and some grilled onions. Will order the smash burger AGAIN! Oh and the live music was great -- try to get a seat out in the patio during the summer if you want a better view (and listen) to the live music. Also, about 75% of their menu was gluten-free. GF burger buns available.
Finally a cool, creative restaurant on the Eastside that serves real, good, and interesting food! I highly recommend. And their gluten free bun is delicious!
Definitely not in my usual budget, but I was fortunate to have a gift card and the whole evening was downright magical. The food was FANTASTIC and very local (I didn't even know you could eat devil's club!), and despite our laundry list of intolerances, every dish we were given felt intentional and carefully crafted, not just like substitutes or consolation prizes. Best gluten-free bread I've ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the live guitar music was lovely. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I stopped by here on a whim: to grab a quick cup of tea to then go shopping nearby. However, upon walking in, the atmosphere was so inviting and relaxing that those plans weren't right out the window. After ording my drink and getting a few gluten-free snacks, I couldn't help but feel invited to sit down and just enjoy my time here for a bit. I always have my painting supplies with me, so I was able to get some work done.
Everyone who came in was greeted warmly and was given excellent customer service. I got the "Red, White, and Matcha," and they freshly pour the ceremonial matcha at costomer pick up to make sure the drink is optimal for each customer being served. The drink had fresh strawberry jam, and I opted for almond milk and it was lovely.
Just dreamy. I hope to stop by more often. It's a great space for relaxing and getting work done. I'm so glad I stopped by.

Awesome little coffee shop in downtown Woodinville. Great coffee with prompt service and nice baristas.
The pastry selection is amazing (gluten free and vegan options) and the quality is excellent. Well worth the drive here, and will become a regular treat for our family.
Only downside is the limited seating inside. So try to come on a sunny day when you can take your coffee and go for a stroll around the downtown area.
I have had many good meals at Walla Walla Steak Co. Tonight's was very disappointing. We were there for dinner. All three of us ordered the Steak frites. One person in our party substituted Brussels sprouts. They enjoyed them. My steak was about a third smaller than the other two, and it was also tough. I wish someone had told me that the fries were not gluten-free. When I asked the server, he went to ask the chef and returned to let me know that the French fries were pre-breaded. They were comparable in quality to those from Wendy's or McDonald's. Very disappointing. For a high

I had the garlic miso ramen it had a suttle taste of miso and pork broth. The ingredients were fresh, but the broth lacked the impact of other ramen in the area. The amazing thing was that they had gluten-free ramen noodles that were amazing. It was a good experience. I will be back and trying the other broths.

Haley was a great server! Very attentive! My mom has an allergy to gluten and Haley made sure that she knew which fries were safe. Checked the dipping sauces and ensured that her burger was gluten free. The rest of our meals were great.
