Ambience, service and food are great. Our Server is very attentive and helped ours needs. Lot of menu options. They have vegetarian and gluten free options. Pot Coffee is also good. Freshly made for us with extra hot. Omlets do not have any dairy mixed in.

Clean and great seafood. Ivar's is an icon of Western Washington serving up classic fish and chips and my favorite clam chowder. Order at the counter, then they will deliver it to your table. Drinks and condiments are self-serve and use biodegradable utensils and condiment cups. Do not miss out on their tartar sauce, a famous staple in this area. I almost always get the cod and chips, though they offer several other fried seafood options and a few gluten-free grilled options. Ivar's is casual, consistent; an indelible delectable favorite familiar across Seattle history. No drive-thru. Sit down, relax, and enjoy your seafood listening to classic oldies. 16$ for lunch (weekdays before 3:30). this is a good deal. No extra charge for soda. Rice noodles gluten free. Variety of seafood, ice cream, coffee. Relaxing environment with calm music. Staff is very kind just speak slowly they are not fluent in English. Customers from all kinds of backgrounds. Please come here and tip them!
