My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant, despite its distance from our gate, precisely because of the reviews. Our gate is at Gate C, and we walked to Gate E, where Pappadeaux is located. Airport restaurants usually have the worst ratings, but this place has 4.5 stars, and after visiting it, I understand why. First, their service is some of the best I've ever received. They took the time to cook our dish two different ways, since my boyfriend is allergic to gluten. They were always attentive to us, even though the place was packed. The food was quite delicious, highly recommended!
They take gluten-free precautions such as a mat for the gluten-free crusts and separate cutter and tongs god send when traveling for someone with celiac Not as fast as a fast food place but the pizza is delicious and peice of mind worth it prices are very reasonable too
The only reason this review is getting a four star rating is from the amazing customer service provided by Vanessa. I chose to eat here after they listed they had gluten free options available as I have celiac disease. Once I arrived I asked Vanessa what gluten free options they had but a male employee rudely cut us off stating they have no gluten free options. Vanessa, even tho in training, took it upon herself to call a manager and have them talk to me. Although it was frustrating to see the manager not even know what allergens are in her food, Vanessa was still dedicated to helping me. There were other women working who were also amazing. Sadly the male staff members were extremely hostile and even came to ID’d us after we had already been served. Moral of the story is don’t go here if you have allergies, wanna overpay and if you do choose to eat here make sure Vanessa is working!!
I like that they had gluten-free options like a gluten-free bun for the burger and chips.
The staff was attentive and packaged my food to be celiac safe. This was the only fast food place where I could find food in this part of the airport.
It's delicious. The beef is of good quality and has less gluten. The spicy sauce is pleasant in the mouth and not unpleasant at the end. It goes perfectly with Shiner beer.
