not only is the food delicious, offering gluten free and vegan options, but the staff and customer service is amazing. with celiac disease, cross contamination is always a possibility but carmine and the staff are so careful; i have never had a negative reaction. located right next to misquamicut state beach, it’s a perfect place to stop before a beach day.
I never write reviews but I can honestly say I could not hold back I can’t say enough about how delicious the breakfast we had and we had gone all three days while we were in Westerly at a nearby Inn. Food and service was excellent!!! Also I am dairy/gluten free and the pastry chef was amazing!!! Love, love this place and I highly recommend it!❤️❤️❤️
When entering you're met with a quant and clean sitting area but the real deal is the quick, friendly and accurate service paired with a ton of healthy food options. My favorite is the gluten free Athena wrap that is full of veggies, grilled chicken and uses balsamic and hummus for added flavor. I also add banana peppers and olives because I want even more veggies. A decent spot to stop and sit but you can also order ahead and take your meal out to eat somewhere scenic, or home because you don't feel like cooking. Lol
Wow!! The place we intended to eat at was closed and OMG we ended up at Cinder. What a treat of lovely food!! Delicious flavors, unique dishes and a happy friendly atmosphere. Great gluten free options, vegan and most delicious tender meat dishes. Highly recommend.
A wonderful restaurant with lots of choices for all. My fiesta bowl (w/ steak) was delicious! Lots of gluten free offerings too. Our waitress, Jennifer, was attentive, knowledgeable & super friendly!!

Good margs, and food.
They are open later than most places nearby.
Also they are very accommodating for gluten allergies/ celiacs. We were able to find a plethora of gluten free options.
My sister and I were in Westerly from out of town to settle our mother's estate. Neither of us are famililar with Westerly and had no clue as to where to go for a late breakfast. I Googled "Breakfast Westerly" and Kelley's popped up as the closest to where we were.
I am so glad they did. We had a great meal and they even have gluten free bread for toast. The staff was great and the place was clean. Service was excellent. I only wish they were open for dinner because we would have gone back!

From the outside of this place, my sister and I were not quite sure what we were getting into (even though we had checked out the menu online beforehand). From the street, it looked a little more like an Italian restaurant from the 1950's than a place that specialized in Asian-style noodle dishes. But once we entered, we were pleasantly surprised in every way. Even though eclectic, the atmosphere was a wonderful mix of classy and comfortable. Our drinks were delightfully refreshing (my sister got the lingon-berry mocktail and I got an apple soda). The food was fabulous. We each got rice noodle dishes, which I highly recommend, especially if you are gluten free like we are. And the dessert -- sticky rice with berries and side of ice cream -- was so much better than the sticky rice desserts I've had before at other places. The chefs hit it out of the ballpark! In addition, our server was really attentive and fun. My sister and I both left feeling like we'd had the best time, and the best meal.

They have one the better GF pizzas. They are educated on cross contamination and use separate utensils, pan, and cutter. We have gotten 20+ pizzas there with no reaction from a very sensitive celiac.
From beginning to end Ella’s was extraordinary! Our waiter, Randy was fabulous. He knew the menu and took care of our party of 8. We were celebrating my parent’s 60th wedding anniversary and the owner James continued to check on our table as well to ensure our experience did not disappoint. The atmosphere was upscale, but still cozy. The wait staff cleared dishes and reset place settings between courses, ensuring our table was never overcrowded and always clean. Our meal timing was perfect through each course and we never felt rushed through our experience. There were eight of us and each person’s appetizer, main dish and dessert was exceptional! The presentation, well you must experience it yourself! We give Ella’s 10/10!! Ask for Randy he provided incredible service and had an awesome personality that added to our evening together! You will be missing out on one of life’s best dining experiences if you don’t try Ella’s. Also, we have a gluten free diner and Ella’s is full of options in every category on their menu! You will be very happy here if someone you know needs GF options:)
Excellent and fresh food! Very very good! So sick and tired of fried and American food. This is just so fresh and good and such a nice change of pace. We had chicken noodle soup, sticky rice, veggie spring rolls and chicken cashew nut. Everything can be made gluten free. Wonderful!
The Black Forest gluten free cake was superb, the frosting so tasty without a super sweet taste, the cake moist and tender, the presentation a work of art. Thank you . This was for a very special celebration and all were impressed. Thank you. P
I absolutely LOVE this place!!! The environment the vibe the staff the food the drinks the plants! Every single thing I’ve had on the menu was good, it’s almost overwhelming to choose because everything is so well made and fresh! I am always impressed with the friendly and welcoming staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about the menu! The homemade sauces and coffee flavors/milks are such a bonus and highlight for me! Plus I’m gluten free by allergy and dairy free by choice, and to have almost everything on the menu available to me (maybe even every item?!) by being naturally GF / DF or able to easily modify to meet my needs is just the biggest plus! But my whole family eats here and they don’t have allergies and they love it just as much as me!
