When I would eat out , this would be my go to restaurant. Everyone there was incredibly nice and just all around a great place . It was downtown so it had a pretty cool atmosphere. They have a place in the back outside to eat with lights and heaters and it’s just a really cool place . Plus I’m celiac and they have a ton of gluten free options !
Consistently, reliably mids. I have never once had something "delicious" here, but it's never been outright inedible either. It's just consistently meh. If i had another GF option nearby, I'd go there. The dough is often either overly dry (as gluten free tends to be) or overly chewy... definitely needs improvement, especially considering the prices.
Just left this location because they wanted to charge me $33 for this same meal. I drove away and said that is crazy and went to the williamette location.
I drove up and asked about the gluten free bun and they said it was $2, which is not a good price. Later when I ordered my daughter meal, he proceeded to say gluten free burger when I never said I wanted that, I stated not gluten free. I proceeded to order my meal and he proceeded to say gluten free and I said not gluten. Then I said I wanted both the meals to have oreo shakes he said okay. He then proceeded to tell me it was gonna me $32 something and I was like I think something went wrong, can you add the shakes to the meal, I've never paid that much. Radio silence for over a minute with me saying hello 15 seconds. Then he finally answered and I said did you hear me and he said no, so I said can you put the shakes in the meals and he proceeded to ring everything up separately and tell me the price would still be $32 something. I about lost it, and said that is crazy and drove off, obviously a communication issue either with speaker or the worker. Either way was frustrating, will not be going back to that location.
ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS OF MY LIFE. Man at the counter was awesome! I think he said he was the owner? He had so much character and kept making me laugh. I went w/ the double smash + grilled onions / mushrooms + garlic mayo and there were some tastes that I have never tasted on a burger before. 10/10. gluten friendly options too
This is my go-to spot in Eugene! I love the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The chilaquiles, waffles, biscuits and gravy and salads are all delicious...I haven't worked my way through everything on the menu yet but those are some of my faves. They have a wide variety of baked goods if you're looking for something quick to go. Right by the Amtrak station if you're traveling. If you or someone in your group is vegan, vegetarian or gluten free there are plenty of clearly-labeled options.
Yummy in my tummy. The staff was helpful and quick. The food options were dizzying as a Celiac. They had tons of options and local favorites all available to us. Even the bacon was extra crispy.
A++ I would highly recommend visiting and bringing a healthy appetite.
As a Gluten free person not due to celiac, I am SO GRATEFUL for their options!!! I’m a sucker for the carrot cake cupcake 😋
Service could be friendlier and faster. I’ve had to ask questions about menu items or been given the wrong item, or…when I ordered a custom cake and got the wrong cake they responded with options rather than empathy. But oh well, maybe we pay more for the item than the service at hideaway.
Either way, I think it’s the best best bakery in town and I love it!
We ate dairy free gluten free burritos and they were delicious!! Mine had zucchini and other veggies that I thought were odd and I was not happy - Until I took a bite! It was amazing! Thank you!
Can I just say how Logan is the absolute best person anybody could ever ask to visit their house? Such a sweetheart. Oh wait I’m supposed to be talking about pizza. Yes, pizza I have celiac. I order pizza from here because it is gluten-free and delicious. Papa’s Pizza has been a favorite for over 30 years. I love you guys
Really great food each time I've been here. The staff are friendly as well. Try some of their specials, like salmon panang curry or avocado curry noodles. Easy to get dairy-free or gluten-free options.
Service was 10/10 for a walk-in of 7 on a Sunday night and one had celiac disease. Meatballs were out of this world. The hazelnut semifreddo needs to become a permanent menu item. It is gluten free and absolutely phenomenal. We had issues with our pasta being served lukewarm, but the dinner was delicious regardless. Would highly recommend.
Delicious pizza choices for all dietary needs. I got the vegan special on gluten free friendly crust. Kids got a salad pizza ( yes they put a salad on your pizza crust!) And a cauliflower crust pineapple pizza. We will be going back!
Oh and the fig balsamic glaze sauce is AMAZING!

Gluten-free pizza extra $3 it was good, I wish the crust was crispier. I honestly loved what they did for Halloween. Free personal pizzas for the kids. I wasn't even aware they had this special going on. Kuddos guys, the pizza, staff, and atmospheric were cool and exciting, cool costumes. Clean, parking on site, games, and playground.
Very detailed gluten free menu. Everything was delicious. I was so happy to eat sushi. I also the history is this space. It's very cozy and you can have your own little room.
The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Me and my family come here every chance we get. The servers were so kind and attentive! There was also great gluten free options! Definitely coming to this location again.
I LOVE Trader Joe's. They have such good prices, a wide variety of options. Their flowers are always beautiful and affordable. They have the BEST gluten free pizza dough that I am OBSESSED with. It is a must try item!
Amazing crepes and they offer gluten free which is amazing. My only issues is they take forever. They told me 10 minutes on the phone, I get here late and they haven’t started it. When they do start making it they move at snail speed, one of the workers friends is walked in and they chatted for a few minutes and he stopped making them and their lobby is full and they have many tickets of orders on the counter. I even called in my order over an hour in advanced. This isn’t my first time in with the time not being what was said. Frustrating being on my lunch hour.
I do recommend this place. But beware that there are cross-contamination situations that can take place, so if you are a little more gluten-free or allergen sensitive, be aware that that can happen. I'm gluten-free, and the few times I've been there, they've given me things that have caused me allergic reactions. They do take allergies seriously, and they do care, but things can happen. Their customer service from their office is top-notch.
My partner and I recently visited BJ’s Restaurant for a much-needed getaway, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a cozy dining experience. We were especially impressed by the outstanding service provided by Chris H., who was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our visit special.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. I opted for the California Chicken Sandwich with a gluten-free bun substitute, and it was incredibly satisfying. The flavors were well-balanced, and the gluten-free option was executed perfectly, without compromising taste. My partner chose the jambalaya, which was richly seasoned and delightfully hearty, making it a perfect choice for anyone craving a burst of flavor.
Overall, BJ’s Restaurant delivered an exceptional dining experience that we won't forget. We left feeling happy and satisfied, looking forward to our next visit.
Wish there was more seating. I had the avocado toast on gluten free bread and while small it was incredibly filling. Had the tumeric latte which was delightful and the dragon acai bowl which was huge!
DO NOT attempt to dine here if you are gluten free. Do not attempt to dine here if you want to eat good tasting, quality food that is worth your money. Expect to be creeped out by the management, hastily sat on still-wet chairs, and greeted with zero professionalism. Brunch spots can get very busy and hectic, but the way this place is run is pathetic. Get it together.
Just to share all the things they offer here. 100% gluten free, 100% organic, 100% vegan, 100% soy-free, 100% salt free, 100% peanut free, 100% oil free, and 100% Raw.
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a whole plant-based raw vegan restaurant. The owners who do all the food prep and service in the restaurant truly care. It shows in the way they treat people when they walk in and in the small details like their 100% recyclable straws to the filtered water that they serve customers.
If you are unfamiliar with eating like this, it might take a little bit to get used to and to change your taste buds to like it. However, some of their food is so good I believe regular eating people would find it equal in taste to the real thing. For example, their soft serve ice cream that is 100% dairy-free and naturally sweetened by fruit or dates also their smoothies!
Was looking for a juicing place. Thrilled to find Nourish.
The juices here are cold pressed daily and the recipes are perfect. Green #1 and Love Your Liver (beet based) are the two that I order regularly. They are consistently balanced and delicious, not sweet or cloying, but fresh and refreshing.
The café also serves Ramen with the yam noodles that are nutritionally dense and gluten free, tacos then include pork with kimchi, and fermented dishes.
The owner is highly knowledgeable and clearly committed to high-quality food production that doesn't compromise taste or nutrition. Truly friendly service that doesn't treat you like a number or a tab.
Couldn't recommend more highly.
We recently found this gem in Eugene. There are so many dishes and options to choose from and almost all can be many gluten-free.
According to my husband the ragoons were creamy and tasty but had too many onions for his liking but the size to filling ratio was great.
I had a gluten-free Pad Thai Cashew nut with steamed tofu and it was so tasty. Portions are big which means I get to have leftovers.
Also recommend the Thai iced tea and an amazing coconut Boba tea
Idk how this place doesn’t have 5 stars. The coffee is AMAZING and the crepes are to DIE for. I’m taking everyone to this place. Also they have gluten free options, like more than 50% of menu can be GF
I love Yum sauce and buy a lot of it. It's cheaper at the restaurant than in stores. I think WinCo carries Yum sauce, but only the smaller size. I also love their Jal-Ses' salsa, which I can only find in the restaurant. The cookies are large, delicious and reasonably priced. They usually have 3 options which include a vegan and gluten free cookie. I especially like their ginger cookie. My son loves the chocolate chip cookie the best but likes them all.
I took off a star because they don't carry soy sauce and have Bragg's Aminos instead. Also I love Yum bowls, Yum Sauce and the salsa, but I feel they are over priced for what they are. That and the sizes aren't very big. A large might be a good lunch if you added a salad or fruit, but it isn't quite enough for me on its own. I highly suggest getting the sauce and making your own bowls at home.
Best damn burger I've ever had. I'm gluten-free and they have a gluten sensitive bun. The best one out there if you ask me. Most GF buns crumble and/or are super dense. This one fooled me. I almost asked if it was actually the right bun. 10/10 would eat this again.
Noisette sits with poise at the corner of Charleston and West Broadway in downtown Eugene. Though given the French name for the humble hazelnut, this place may be the empress of bakeries in Eugene.
The pastries they had on a random Thursday afternoon when I walked in: the blackberry nectarine pistachio frangipane. The strawberry lavender Tres Leche cake. The mixed very tart with fresh cherry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberries, and two kinds of stone fruit. The coconut custard passionfruit curd which is gluten-free presented so elegantly. The yummy carrot cake sandwich. The coconut cream tart. Then you wander over and you see the olive oil white wine cake. For just $4.95. The lavender lemon tea cake. A cherry custard tart, the palmier. The hazelnut cloud cookies the pecan cloud cookie. The chocolate chunk shortbread cookie. The flourless chocolate cake. And then you see the savory options. The ham Greer on brioche buns with sweet pickles, lettuce, sweet mustard. The caramelized onion sweet red pepper leeks and mozzarella focaccia. The vegetarian savory tart which is leek, kale, artichoke heart, sweet peppers, goat cheese. But my favorite and the one I chose roasted lamb sandwich on sourdough with cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, grilled onions, and harissa aïoli. Next time it will be the mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on baguettes with pesto. I'm not even gonna talk about the Hand pies. All this coming out of one bakery. The presentation is so beautiful. You almost don't want to eat it. And somebody here really loves their plants.
They open from 8 to 6 Wednesday to Sunday. All bakers have to rise before the crack of dawn so deserve a break and they take their weekends on Monday and Tuesday. If you're not sure what to get talk to Emily she was super helpful.
They can do gluten free pitas! I got the donair on a gluten free pita and it was fantastic. And the fries are also gluten free and came out super hot and crispy
It says they will do gluten-free hibachi so we were really looking forward to doing a birthday dinner here but they would not reserve a grill for 5 people to be gluten-free and said that the birthday girl and other family members would have to just order from the kitchen. Very disappointed.
