Panini Grill was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. As someone who eats gluten-free, it was such a treat to enjoy a flavorful, satisfying meal without compromise. Highly recommend!
It was nice to go on Memorial Day. Good weather so we ate outside. We had a gluten-free pizza and the wings. They have the best gluten-free pizza on Staten Island. The wings are the greatest. Why not go see a movie afterward since the theater is right next door?
A friend of mine ordered a cake from here and it was decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. We went for coffee and breakfast everything was so delicious. The biggest compliment I have is the gluten-free cookies. Taste one of those cookies and you can never tell they are gluten-free….it’s impossible. The most delicious I’ve ever tasted great job!! I would definitely tell you to visit and enjoy the atmosphere…see what you think..
went on a friday night, service was very good seated right and served in a timely manner. options for gluten free and even vegan appetizers and entrees.
I discovered the Z-Two Diner back in April 2024 after a Judas Priest concert in NJ and my buddy and I were both starving late at night when nothing else is open, especially for two guys with Celiac Disease, which means we can only eat gluten free. We drove there on the way back to Brooklyn and we both had one of the many choices of burgers on a GF bun with GF steak fries. The food to say the least was delicious and of good quality.
I normally don't like diner food because the quality tends to be sub-par and typically the flavors are very bland. Since that night in April, I have been back to Z-Two almost every weekend with my family, especially since I've relocated to Staten Island. The food is still very good, the service and the staff are friendly, professional and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. They always have a smile on their faces and love to delight you with funny stories and small talk. The atmosphere is modern and the restaurant is clean. There's plenty of free parking in the parking lot.
I highly recommend visiting the restaurant if you've never been there and try the food.
My favourite grocery store. Clean, organized and always opened, which is very convenient for those who have a weird work schedule. It has a great variety of food, and most importantly for me, gluten free food! ♥️ also good prices and sometimes nice deals!
Only place I shop now since they opened years ago.
Pros: Easy to read ingredients, truly the kindest service, usually well stocked compared to other markets. Great to explore worldy foods, great dietary specific options (dairy free, gluten free, free range, organic, etc.) Much smaller than "supermarkets" so I get in and out with efficiency, especially if I go off busy hours.
Cons or tradeoffs 🤷🏽♀️😊
Some items may be a bit pricier but the quality is certainly more natural (less synthetic!) so its a concious choice.
They keep moving things around, so it can take more time to reorient and find stuff but they're super helpful with that. (I understand its a necessary thing for shelf space 🤷🏽♀️)
Writing as a review of the gluten-free pizza since there haven't been any for a while. I appreciate that it's an option and they can do a lot of variety with the toppings, but I really didn't care for the crust. It was extremely thin and crispy, almost like a cracker, and the edges were somewhat burnt. I got the veggie pizza and I'm not sure if the veggies watered down the pizza sauce or something but it tasted off - somewhat watered down, not very seasoned, and stronger tomato flavor. I was with some friends who had a couple regular pizzas, they tried the gluten-free and mostly agreed that it tasted quite different from the regular pizza's sauce. Service was good, restaurant was clean and I didn't have any symptoms after eating the pizza (I have Celiac) but it was not one I'd go back for. One of my friends said he liked the crust because he likes that style, but the rest of it wasn't as good.
I have been searching high and low for the best gluten free pizza on Staten Island and I think I’ve found it here! The crust is not floppy, it’s crispy and delicious. I will be ordering my gluten free pizzas from here from now on.
Nice place to eat dinner, staffs are friendly. Our hostess was very attentive, didn't have 2 wait 2 long for our food I ordered a grilled chicken Ceasar salad which was a nice portion, it was very good, the grilled chicken was very tender and seasoned properly , I ate the whole thing. Also the bread was really good, I'm guessing it's fresh baked . They take cash or credit. The raspberry iced tea is good too and my kids enjoyed their chicken plater meals. Nice relaxing place, would go again to try a different dish. Thanks for the free blooming onion, quite not what I expected, it tasted really good! Cheers!!
TO THE LADY WHO WAS ASKING ABOUT THE GLUTEN FREE ....YES THEY HAVE A WHOLE MENU , PLEASE BE SURE TO ASK YOUR SERVER.
I WANTED TO MAKE SURE I HAVE CORRECT INFO BEFORE ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION, AND THEN I COULDN'T FIND YOUR QUESTION. SORRY!
Pregnancy Craving Fulfilled — GF Bagel Heaven!
I came in with a very specific pregnancy craving—a gluten-free everything bagel with egg, cheese, and pastrami—and they nailed it. It’s SO hard to find GF bagels, let alone ones this delicious.
They also had a great variety of gluten-free muffins, cookies, and snacks, which was such a pleasant surprise. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and their iced coffee hit the spot too.
Mangia is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. Their old fashioned Sicilian pie is my favorite and I enjoy that the friendly restaurant staff and quiet atmosphere.
They have a varied menu and the restaurant service is attentive. I also appreciate they are mindful of customers who need gluten free options.
Absolutely delicious Italian pizza, pasta and entrees! There are so many pizza choices, my favorites were the grilled chicken Caesar salad and the Grandma with a sesame seed crust, soooo yummy! We shared the seafood salad with large shrimp, mussels and tender calamari and the beautiful cold cut platter. The pasta with bolognese was fabulous and so was the chicken francese. They even have gluten free pizza and pasta. Finish with cappuccino and the oh so fresh cannolis and zeppoles. Bring the entire clan as the prices are very reasonable at this wonderful family friendly restaurant.
Completely underwhelmed by their gluten free Sicilian pie. Firstly, it was VERY small compared to other pizzerias. Most gluten free pizzas fit the size of a small pizza box. As you can see in my photo this was a tiny pie. There was hardly any sauce and practically no flavor. Lastly, this was a premade crust and expensive at $19 for practically nothing. I can say delivery was quick, but that’s the only positive and why I’d give any stars.
The BEST gluten-free chicken parmigiana by far in my years so far being gluten free and it was a great portion, had leftovers!! Delicious GF appetizer, entree, dessert options. Will be back for sure can’t wait to try their GF pizza
We loved the chef today. He was hilarious and seemed like he was having just as good a time as we were! delicious food as always. and very accommodating to my gluten allergy.
First time dining at Enoteca Maria and was not disappointed. The nonna's on this evening were from Mexico and Japan and of course there were the house Italian dishes. The food was incredibly flavourful and the portion size was generous. I loved the intimate atmosphere and the friendly attentive service made you feel as though you were a visitor in someone's home. The restaurant was also accommodating for anyone who requires a gluten free meal. Highly recommend.
This restaurant just opened a few months ago and based on my first experience, I definitely plan on being a repeat customer.
I would say the food is a blend of American, Brazilian and Italian. We got the burrata (special), rib eye steak, vodka parm with a side of gluten free pasta in mushroom truffle sauce (yes, they have gluten free pasta!) and cheesecake. Everything was exquisite - the quality of ingredients is evident throughout every meal from the burrata to the entree to the cheesecake (which was made in house).
Aside from the food, the service and hospitality was the best I have ever experienced. I felt like I was one of the family and that my business was genuinely appreciated. The chef even came out to thank us and asked exactly how we wanted our meals, which was wonderful because we got to customize our entrees to our specific likings.
This was the best restaurant experience I have had in a while- highly recommend!
Greek Xpress Hylan Boulevard is our favorite go to!! My daughter has severe celiac disease and eats worry free from their gluten free menu options due to their cross contamination safety precautions and dedicated separate fryers. We have been customers for a year now, so this has been proven time and time again, consistently having a positive experience. Portions are plentiful, well seasoned and just overall delicious! The owner and staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Grace is a superstar and knows my daughter’s order by heart! It’s a very happy day for my family when it’s Greek Xpress day!

This place is amazing. They are very friendly. The place is very clean. You can eat frozen Yogurt in the floor, guys. Everything it’s always clean. And the best thing is that every frozen yogurt is no artificial flavors, no artificial color, gluten free and low-fat. 🔥🔥🔥 AND THEY ALWAYS PUT NEW FLAVORS.
It’s so nice to live nearby a store where otherwise I’d be ordering online from for my niche items. My mom and I enjoy going up and down the rows, some of the best yogurt I found here that’s made it easy for my food sensitivities, amazing gluten free selection. The owners are lovely and knowledgeable. I’m so glad I discovered this store !
We did take out option. Glad to see vegan options. I had the incredible burger with avocado, BBQ sauce and sweet potato fries.
The menu has a lot of healthy options for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, etc as well as people with a standard eating menu.
Burgers, pizza, smoothies, etc.
Their website is easy to use and navigate and has a good amount of variety and options. Thanks.
JEEZ!!! Who would ever think that a phenomenal restaurant such as this would exist within Staten Island. With the numerous amounts of restaurants that claim to specialize in “Italian Cuisine”, Dolce Fantasia truly brings value and meaning to those two words. The spectacular vibrant atmosphere, professional service, scrumptious varieties of dishes along with many selections of delightful deserts sets this place apart from any restaurant that exists on Staten Island, hands down. This restaurant sets extremely high standards for food and service, so much so, that inevitably some people will not be able to comprehend. Nonetheless, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, Dolce Fantasia expertly serves its customers with delicious foods that’ll kick some life back into you, which some (a lot) of us need. My experience here was great and I highly recommend y’all pay a visit to this gem.
P.S. The Gluten Free Chocolate Soufflé (sounds like a freaking weapon) is from beyond this planet, which by far is my favorite desert which will literally put you in a trance because it’s that damn good.
Primo: they have gluten-free pizza and were great. (If you want gluten-free pizza from here make sure you call ahead of time to confirm.) Secondo: this pizzeria appears to be always swamped and lucky to get your order in. Lastly, this is a cash only pizzeria but on the plus side they have an 🏧.
THIS IS NO LONGER PROJECT BRUNCH!! It’s now called Flores Brunch. It is not similar to project brunch at all. We came for the gluten free cinnamon bun pancakes and they don’t have that option. Only gluten free bread. If we knew that project brunch no longer existed we wouldn’t have driven across the island to eat sub par food that I could have made better at home. I normally do not leave reviews but this really annoyed me that it still states that Project Brunch is open at this location when it is an entirely new place. The waitress laughed in my friends face for ordering an “iced dirty chai latte” and said “I’m going to have a hard time explaining that one to the people in the back” meanwhile it was on their menu. My breakfast burrito came out with literally just eggs and bacon in it and my friend’s scrambled eggs looked like a filet of fish, it was inedible. Will not return - we only stayed because we drove so far out to go to Project Brunch. At least, my cinnamon latte and home fries were good.
