It was a nice night out. If it gets busy, it can get loud. Still a fun and nice atmosphere for dinner. The food is delicious!!! I love the changing menus, there is always something new to try. You cannot go wrong!!! Also, they are always willing to help pair a nice drink with your meal. Being gluten free, I have never had an issue with getting sick.

What a treat! The sandwiches. The pies. The cookies. The staff. The owner. The charming retro decor. From the moment we entered this delightful bakery, we were treated like family - warmly welcomed by the staff and the owner, Linda Hundt, who then introduced us to her “Mommy,” who also was visiting. Our sandwiches were served on freshly baked bread with a side of potato chips accompanied with green onion dip. We tried a slice of coconut cream pie - rich, velvety coconut filling topped with luscious cream and toasted coconut in a perfect, crumbly crust. Linda brought a warm-from-the-oven experimental cookie for us to sample. She thought it hadn’t risen enough to meet her standards of sweet perfection, but the taste - oh, my. We can’t wait to return to try this new treat when it is perfected. We purchased a few other cookies and a gluten-free almond macaroon to take with us - each better than the other. Before departing, our new friend Linda autographed a copy of her cookbook. Be sure to get your copy. It is filled with beautiful photos, heart-warming stories, and her incredible recipes for Sweetie-licious Pies. One more thing - did I mention that Linda is a nineteen-time national pie baking champion? This bakery is worth driving many miles out of your way to visit. Plan your visit today.

As someone with celiac and can't have most breads, family tree still has a delicious and filling meal. My personal favorite is the meat lovers omelette

We are usually happy with the service here but today was an exception. We waited for about 5 minutes to be acknowledged by the waitress and let the hostess know we had not seen her. I then asked for a gluten free menu from the hostess. She looked in a pile at the hostess stand couldn't find it and said she'dask the manager. We never saw her again. Once the waitress showed up everything went smoothly and food was quite good.
