I got the honeyroni gluten free pizza and it was amazing!! I have celiac which makes it hard to find good food let alone pizza. I had no reaction to it. The place is a little hole in the wall and the staff is super nice and took care of my concerns without hesitation. I wish I lived in Boston because I worked definitely be a regular here!!!
You have to try the lobster rolls. They are the absolute best. They have also added gluten free buns to the menu which was great for a friend with gluten sensitivities. Onion rings were a little bland.
My family went out to dinner here passing through Boston and the options were good for gluten free and vegetarian eaters! The food and service were very good, it was a little bit cold inside but it was a nice place to sit and eat. Prices were reasonable and the food was delicious!
Sei Bar in Medford has some of the best sushi I've had in Boston and they were willing to accommodate a Celiac and serve us a gluten free meal. It was delicious, the service was wonderful and the drinks were tasty.
If you are looking for some decent sushi in the Medford area, Sei Bar is where you should go. Doubly so if you're a Celiac who just wants a tasty Maki Roll and to not have to worry about getting sick. They knew "no tempura, nothing fried and nothing battered" without me even having to tell them. Offered gluten free soy sauce. A+ all around.
Everything we ordered was good. What was special though was the General Gao's chicken. I have an egg allergy and a gluten allergy (as of 6 years ago). I rarely find general's chicken that I can eat that is a both egg free and GF. When I do, it usually sucks. The General's chicken at Blue Fiji however was delicious! I've already gone back twice for more!
I ordered a very large lunch catering order. The team was super accommodating to my last minute changes and delivered the food piping hot!!. Everything was fresh, pizzas, salad and the gluten-free pizza that I ate was delicious. The team was extremely happy and the pastries, cannolis and cookies were amazing I was told. We will definitely be ordering from them again.!
Best dining hall on the Tufts campus, though Carm occasionally pulls through with specialty offerings. Would highly recommend checking the menu beforehand to ensure you know exactly what you're getting.
But most importantly, the food tastes good and there are plenty of choices for the health-conscious, vegan, gluten-free, and so forth.
If you are a celiac and want to have gluten free french fries once in a while in a fast food environment this is the place. They have dedicated fryer.
For burgers they offer lettuce wrap for gluten free people.
Italian food is super delicious and service is fast. They have a delightful gluten free options for pasta. Sweets are also super light and delicious. Prices are good. Parking is easy on the street.
I definitely recommend this cool place!
Went for dinner and drinks with my wife. Wife is Gluten Free and it was nice to see they had different options. Nachos (GF) and Cajun pasta (not GF) were very good. Got the apple pie drink which was amazingly good. We're surprised with live music for Oktoberfest. All in all we had a great time and will be back again.
This place always nails it with the gluten free pizzas, so delicious and quick on late nights and I’ve never had a problem with their pizza as a gluten sensitive customer. They’re the best!!!
This is delicious food that consistently gets delivered within the timeframe they state.
As someone with Celiac, I can request items to be made gluten free & they clearly label which dishes are safe for me to eat! Very few places do this, but it is greatly appreciated ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We got mozzarella sticks, onion rings, margarita pizza, and a gluten free hawaiian. The onion rings, we got like 8 rings. It was good, but wish they gave more. Mozzarella sticks were solid. The pizzas were very good. My friend said it was one of the best gluten free pizzas she's had. The driver who delivered was so friendly. Would order again!
UPDATE: still a great place to go. Eggplant parm is out of this world. Rotating beers on draft. My girlfriend loves the Xmas decorations. 10/10.
My girlfriend had the salmon and I had the burger. Both were awesome. Beers were cold, my girlfriend loved her cocktails. My girlfriend is gluten free and they had plenty of options. We had to wait a few minutes for a table because the place was full so we hung at the bar for a few and had a drink. The bartender was friendly and fast and then when we sat down our waitress was great. The owner is from Ireland and made sure my Guinness was poured perfectly. Great place. Will definitely become regulars.
Had a great gluten free dinner. Mongolian lamb and frogs legs with green peppercorn totally delicious 😋. Looking forward to going back and trying more things
I've been a regular at Grounder’s, often ordering lunch daily for years. However, a recent experience has unfortunately marred my view of this establishment. The online ordering system sometimes fails to register specific notes, like my need for gluten-free options. This particular day, my gluten-free note was missed. I noticed this only minutes after placing the order and promptly informed one of the kind employees, who reacted professionally.
However, the owner’s response was disappointing. She aggressively pointed out that they don’t offer gluten-free paninis, only toast, despite my frequent orders of the same in the past. Her tone was unnecessarily rude, and she questioned if I expected her to remake the sandwich.
As a gluten-free customer, I’ve overlooked the smaller portions and even the fact that many items seem to be pre-bought from Costco. But what I cannot overlook is the lack of respect and kindness from the owner, especially towards a loyal customer. Her attitude not only undermines the hard work of her employees but also shows a disregard for customer loyalty.
To the owners, if she isn't the owner herself, I would suggest taking note of the behavior of the Brazilian woman with lighter-colored hair with faded micro-bladed eyebrows. It's a shame to see years of patronage end this way, but customer service, especially from the top, matters significantly.
Pictures attached is from a previous day showcases the size difference between a regular and gluten free panini, which are the same price.
