Great place for someone with celiac, gluten intolerance or allergy. The GF onion rings were amazing! The service was slow, but there was only one person waiting on the entire restaurant and every table was full.
I have to remain Gluten free for health reasons and GF crusts don't always taste great. So I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza here, and it was amazing!!! Taste doughy like a gluten filled pizza! 😂
They are a bit expensive here though. For a medium pizza (3 toppings) and an appetizer of buffalo wings=$46.00.
This has always been one of my favorite places to grab a quick, healthy, meal. Delicious, varied, and modifiable menu. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are spectacular. The free ice cream cones are just the cherry on top. I’m always surprised that it’s not more busy than it is… I think this place is amazing.
Service at Deanie's felt lackluster at best. We chose to eat here on our way through because we have previously enjoyed the barbecue shrimp and the market next door. The market seemed sparse, and the barbecue shrimp was more greasy than buttery. When asked for a Gluten-free menu both the waitress and the fellow acting as host made us feel they didn't really know what we meant, though they did have a separate menu. I feel like they need to train their staff better on allergy safety, as we were told "almost everything on the menu is gluten free aside from the soft-shell crab, but we can make that Gluten-free." They completely ignored the fact that nearly two-thirds of the menu has flour and bread crumbs, and that depending on their fryer situation, the fried foods, even if they are corn-meal breaded, are not safe either. I have never eaten somewhere that made me feel so brushed off and like the staff did not care if they got someone sick. We will choose a different location if we eat at Deanie's again.

Awesome options for people with celiac disease and dairy intolerance! I love that they have espresso options and some middle eastern flavors, too. My great aunt said this was one of the best nectar cream snoballs she's ever had 🙂
This is such a standout good crepe place. Their Japanese style crepes were very flavorful, and super filling. I had the short rib crepe, and my wife had the gluten free smoked salmon one. Both were great, but the one that really wowed us was the GF creme brulee crepe with strawberries. This was amazing, and better than most any creme brulee I have had even without the crepe part. I will certainly come back here next time I am in town.
SS probably has the best "fast food" burger and fries!!! Especially the double cheeseburger. The bun is incredibly soft (and gluten free!) And the condiments are thick sliced and fresh, love the pickles.
Plus, the crinkle cut fries are really good. I like that it's only potatoes and salt meanwhile mcdonalds fries have chemicals and a double digit number of ingredients.
SS will be my new go to for burger and fries. I don't care if it's 2 dollars more than other places, the quality is far superior. Much effort (seemingly) has been made to ensure they use the fewest chemicals, preservatives, and poisons which is important to my family.
Service was good, greeted with smile and no issues
This was our first time. We ordered 6 wings and a10" meat pizza which has a gluten-free crust. Both items were delicious. We were greeted right as we walked in the door. The lady that greeted us we very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back.
I have been coming here for years with my 3 young kids for breakfast. I have celiac disease and my kids are 3, 5, and 7. Everyone is always very accommodating with my being gluten free and with the craziness of the kids. Christy M is usually our server and she is the bomb.com.
Thank you to our waiter, Ronnie, who made my group of friends and I's brunch so spectacular. I had the gluten-free toast and asked to add whipped cream and bananas. When he brought out my food, the whipped cream was in the shape of a heart!
Wow! Where do I even begin? The place is so clean and new, the staff is so kind, hard at work, and always have a smile on their face! I am a vegetarian so it is hard to find food options at many places but not here! They have multiple options for those who do not eat meat. This is a great spot to come Fridays during Lent! Not only do they have vegetarian options, but also gluten free! The managers are doing a great job…keep up the good work!
We drive all the way from Hammond to eat at Stella’s at least once a month. They have the best gluten free pizza, and the service team are always friendly and personable.
I'm gluten and dairy free (unfortunately), so Italian restaurants are challenging but the waiter was very conscientious and helped me navigate things that I could eat. And it was very tasty!!

We wanted to try one of everything. The menu looked/sounded so good. They have gluten free bread, which no one ever has. The parish burger was phenomenal. We will definitely be back. I'm so glad we found this place.
The team at this five guys deals with gluten intolerance issues spectacularly. Just be clear when you order & they'll take care of you. Very grateful for their willingness to accomodate!
It’s always freezing and inattentive. Bring a warm top AND your patience.
Of the items tried, I recommend the gluten free crab cakes if you prefer less breading and the garlic mash potatoes as a must try side item. Runner up is the redfish.
What keeps us coming back are their weekday hours and non vegetarian gluten free options.
One of the very few places that is open late nights and that have gluten free options that are delicious! Most of the time I have had spectacular service!

Arguably one of the best 'fast food' smash burgers that you are going to find around! They have gluten-free cauliflower buns, black bean burger, and turkey burger options! They do typically cost more, but for the quality you are getting, it is absolutely worth it. They have quick frozen nitrogen milkshakes too if you are into a cold treat. The staff is always very friendly when we stop by. Highly suggest swinging by if you are looking for a quick burger!

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the day. They had gluten and dairy free options which is super important for my celiac self and our little. She was in LOVE with the lemon loaf. We all were, actually. The pumpkin bread and cinnamon swirl hit the mark as well.
I had a hot rose matcha latte with oat milk and genuinely felt refreshed and renewed after breakfast. Thanks, evolve, for being there. We will be back any time we head that way.
We dined in on the 4th of July, and what a celebration it was! The place is a lovely new building where one of the old hotels were around the airline hwy circle. It’s clean, bright, smart and well set up with great parking for many cars. Easy to get to off Labarre Road behind Planet Fitness.
The food is unbelievably great Tex-mex. Chef Josh welcomed us with samples of his smoked brisket and fresh local shrimp ceviche. They were both so delicious we got the shrimp for an app and taco salad bowls with brisket. Chef was great about my dairy allergies and left off any dairy. He reported the bowl to be gluten free also, like 97% of the menu, as he uses fresh corn tortillas and chips. The taco bowls were delicious with rice, smoked pinto beans, Guacamole on a bed of romaine. The accompanying dressing was a dairy free jalapeño ranch which was to die for. I asked the waiter to confirm that it was dairy free and chef came out affirm this!!!!! The space is immaculate, the dining room is very large, the bar is huge. There are frozen margs and frozen sangria. Happy hour every day and starting this weekend also on Saturday 11-2. There is a private room for parties and a clean enclosed patio with tons of tables and seating and a huge yard for kids to be kids in. I really recommend this spot and do hope they flourish. Check them out!!!!
Beautiful atmosphere inside and out! We have been a few times and wanted to share bc the experience has been so nice. I have celiac disease and could not believe the options I have here. You should check it out. Especially for brunch outside for a game or just a pretty day! We will return!

I really enjoy the Fresh Market, they carry a lot of things the other stores in town don't. I especially love that they carry Graeters Ice cream and my favorite gluten free gnocchi. While I have to say they are a little pricier than some of their competitors they do have great deals and different variety items available.
Food is great! Very accommodating if you are gluten free and dairy free. The owner was there and is one of the most friendliest people. The staff was great. Will go back next time in New Orleans.
