Our party of 3 dined here for the first time last week, and we are glad to report we will be returning. We had the pleasure of being served by Renee and ordered the chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, and lasagna, which were all very flavorful and well portioned for the price! I didn't notice until after I ordered that the eggplant parmesan is gluten free, and therefore they do not bread the eggplant. I would have rathered the breading but I can honestly say I did not miss it! Three dinner entrees and a glass of house wine came to about $60, which is a good deal.

I have been in the service industry near my entire life,so I know what a pain in the behind a resteraunt guest with strict & super specific dietary requirements can be. I have been a gluten free vegan for over 20 yes this evening I had Theo's neighborhood pizza for the very 1st time .The very helpful kind and knowledgeable Angel(pronounced on'jell) recommend a few vegan options.brought me the Togo tea to drink as I looked over the menu.She knew the answer to all of my questions about ingredients etc. Honestly though I was ordering Togo,she treated me as if I were the most important person in the place,I noticed she also had several"tables" of customers some 6 or more,they too ,I noticed were also treated as though they were all VIP.curtious,respectful and kind .I would have been running around like a crazy person.but not Angell.She was smooth cool collective&kind. As far as the Pizza I ordered HOLY CHRISTMAS!! I'M 5'5 barely 100 lbs.I ate the entire,THE ENTIRE PIZZA it was the most DELICIOUS pizza hands down the best I have ever had.and I have had pizza from New York to Chicago,nothing compared to the Pizza from Theo's tonight.I even approached the cooks to ask a question.so helpful and kind they were busy but didn't treat me like I was interrupting or bothering them at all.They were great.After returning to the hotel to DEVOUR the ENTIRE PIZZA(which I did by MYSELF.YEP, I ATE THE ENTIRE PIZZA).when I called the restaurant Mathew answered and was extremely gracious and thankful for my speaking up on the Awesomeness of the ENTIRE THEO'S PIZZA EXPERIENCE .WELL GET USE TO MY face THEO'S PIZZA IN ELMWOOD SHOPPING AREA I WILL BE BACK REPEATEDLY!!!!!!! YOU'RE MISSING OUT IF YOU HAVEN'T EATEN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great little place and I liked that that had gluten free options. However if you are sensitive or celiac I do not recommend it because there was a spaghetti noodle in my gluten free pasta and they were pretty lassiez faire about it. I don't eat gluten because it's a migraine trigger. I'm glad it didn't trigger me, but I wouldn't recommend chancing it. Tastes amazing though!

I found this bakery around a year ago when I started working at a nearby shop and I have to say, I'll be a customer for life, even now that I work across town. I've had most options on the menu and I've yet to try anything I wasn't blown away by. The treats, cookies, bread, gelato, pepper jelly; everything has been amazing. Even my mom (who is on a health craze right now) loves this little bakery. Everything is made in house and there are gluten free options. They also do bagels and sandwiches and now milkshakes! There's always something new to try and the customer service is impeccable. This lovely little harahan spot is well worth going out of my way for every time.
