Why say you offer gluten free options and have educated staff, when all I can eat here as a person with Celiac Disease is a soggy burger and flavorless mashed potatoes? Why did the cashier roll her eyes when we ordered? Why did we get attitude for ordering food with allergy alerts? Fix it.

This place is great! They even have a gluten free menu, which is a god-send! There's a way they adjust their fish tacos that turns them into deconstructed fish nachos. Highly recommend!!

The person that took care of us, Anthony, was so kind! I have a severe gluten allergy that makes going out difficult. He so happily made my meal safe. He changed out all the serving utensils, washed his hands, put hand sanitizer on, put on new gloves, and grabbed safe lettuce for me. Even when a coworker came to help that didn’t have safe gloves, Anthony chose safety and did not accept the help. This employee goes above and beyond to help his customers fell safe. I will be telling everyone about this experience! This place is great for those with gluten allergies

I love Joe's in Effingham! We eat there a few times a month. They have good Gluten Free pizza. The gluten full is delicious too? But i sadly shouldnt eat it anymore. I also love the chef salad. It's huge! I can get at least 2 meals out of it. The pasta is good too. Sweeter sauces make me a big fan of this place. The service is amazing. Friendly serving staff who have been there forever. I'm not related to or friends with anyone at Joe's. I really appreciate their food and service!

I made a gluten-free order. By ordering no bun on my hamburger. I told the waitress exactly what I wanted. The kitchen messed the order up. The kitchen had the nerve to add a charge for something that I did not order. There is a fee to pay the kitchen. You have to ask for that fee to be taken off of your bill. This is too complicated. Just get the order right.Charge what the menu says. I asked not to be seated in the bar. I was put in a high top table between the bar and the dining room facing the bar. Still in the bar. I should have left then but I was too hungry from driving.
