I've been meaning to try this place for well over a year and a half and was concerned when it temporarily closed down earlier in 2024. Finding out the owners had staffing issues and, since then, having corrected them, Toast, Four Corners was everything i had hoped for. It is relatively close to the city where i live with an enjoyable ride heading towards the Uconn campus and countryish atmosphere. There is plenty of free parking to this cozy, cute breakfast and lunch nook. Which doesn't seem very large until you go in and see it is much bigger, yet comfortable inside. Sunday after 11 am is prime breakfast hours, but we I didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. Service was very courteous and prompt, not rushing to take an order while deciding. Options from regular breakfast to omelets, sandwiches, waffles ( with chicken), pancakes, gluten free, and the like to their own creation of " the pile" ( caserole style dish). Comfortable, bright, open place with good food and service that will make you want to try it for lunch. Definitely will be on my rotation as one of my local breakfast stops.

They have multiple options for gluten free crust, note down gluten allergies/Celiac, and have separate covered ingredients that they can use for people with allergies. They also keep gluten free pizzas on a separate side of their brick oven as regular and have them on a special mat.

The food was so delish!!!. They have a huge menu and were able to cater to my gluten and dairy allergy. The waitress was one of the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant doesn’t look like a five star place but the food is bangin. Me and my husband were really impressed!

I went here for the first time this summer and since then I have frequented this place every week or sometimes 2 times per week. Having a gluten allergy its often hard to find places that have good food and multiple options. The food is great, the owners are present and the sevice awesome. Highly recommend.

Extensive gluten free menu. New owner/chef (Raj) is out and about in the dining room meeting new customers as orders allow. Very friendly and enthusiastic about the business. Had the chicken pakora and the golden fried prawns. Prawns we're cooked, but tender - perfect! And the chicken was moist. Both dishes were delicious. Ordered chicken Tikka masala (my usual go to at an Indian restaurant) and the mango chicken (hot). The Tikka was a bit sweet for my taste and the flavor leaned a bit toward molasses for some reason, but it was still very good. The mango chicken was about a 6/10 on the heat scale, even though I ordered it hot, so I wouldn't be afraid to order the mild or medium. The flavor was delicious, though. Will be coming back to try other dishes in the future.
