I have dairy and gluten allergies. I always have poached eggs and fresh fruit. It’s always fresh and delicious. My husband had the sweet Pete breakfast sandwich and he said it was great. It was a healthy sandwich. I hear the chicken salad is delicious. The next time we are in the area I will try that.
I eat gluten free and have always been very satisfied with both the food and service here. Menu has specifically marked GF next to safe food, the staff is friendly and accommodating, becoming one of our favorite places to go!
Jersey Mike's has great gluten free bread. The only place I have found in Branford that takes great care in making your sandwich. The sandwiches are delicious and the employees are pleasant, courteous and professional. Also easy in, easy out.
Cute place. Hidden (literally) gem in Branford. Outdoor patio on the water. Small indoor dining area. Good cocktails, nice brunch menu... Eggs, burgers, salads, fish, gluten free options. Will definitely be back.
Another awesome gluten free meal. Never have to worry about cross contamination and the owner is more than willing to assist. Another delicious birthday dinner... thank you so much!
My wife and I both had excellent dinners. We love coming here. The food is always delicious and the plates are generous. The margaritas are great. Very friendly service. Now that it’s summer we really enjoy eating on their outdoor deck area. My wife has many gluten free options here with their corn tortillas.
Loved this place. Great food. Excellent gluten free options. Best part is their beef is all grass fed chicken are no antibiotics! Prices are amazingly reasonable and the wait staff the best! The menu is great with many options.
My new favorite Mexican restaurant! The mushroom tacos were sensational - I believe they were shiitake mushrooms, and they were out of this world. The service was fast and courteous. Perfect for those on gluten free diets. We will certainly be back.
Having a wheat allergy, usually results in terrible holiday meals. We went there for our Christmas/holiday party at work and I appreciate that they took the extra steps so that I wasn’t sitting there looking at my fingers the entire meal while other people ate. Their gluten free pasta is amazing and their wait staff all made sure I was taken care of and secure about what I was eating. Gluten free people👍 check this restaurant out!
My family has been going to Ilforno since before I was born. They have catered my highschool graduation, my 21st birthday, my fiance's college graduation, and many other life celebrations and weeknight dinners. The food is always fantastic, and they have been able to provide special order gluten free meals when needed. Their gluten free tray of eggplant parmesan and gluten free tray of artichoke hearts were so good most of our guests didn't realize it was gluten free. Ilforno is the perfect place for a fancy sit down celebration, a weeknight dinner to go, or to pick up a pizza!
The best!! We eat here every week. Allergen free options- Gluten free, cauliflower crust , whole wheat, etc. - flavors are all amazing! Service is wonderful-
We had a great time at Darbar’s new location in Branford. They had so many gluten free options for us to try including gluten free Indian pizza! Staff was knowledgeable about gluten, dairy and nut allergies. The Gobi 65 is an all time favorite and we can’t wait to go back.
The atmosphere alone truly drew me in with all the classic Italian music they were playing throughout the resultant! 🍕🍝🍷
Being Italian - I'm picky with my sauce!! 😝 I would go out on a limb + say this is some of the best Italian cuisine I've eaten on the coast here in CT. Yes- you heard that correctly!
They put PASTA ON PIZZA,+ have gluten free options as well for those who need to be more conscious with their diet. I paired their Frank Family Cab Sav with an incredible beet salad - + not just ANY salad: it had fried goat cheese mixed within!
I cannot wait to go back and take some new peeps with me to enjoy it!
For people in a gluten free diet, this place is a gem. I had the curried chicken salad. It doesn't really need to be on a sandwich, but there was gluten-free slice bread available as an option. I didn't even have to ask for it to be toasted...they just knew that gf bread is better like that.
