Great service and I love the atmosphere, very comfortable and lots of great art. We enjoyed the coffee and a sandwich (even offered gluten free!) and the kids got to enjoy an ice cream cone-BIG HIT!
The pizza is WAY overpriced. I ordered a “build your own”, about 12”, with gluten free crust ($8, which is much more expensive than other places), chicken ($6), and mushrooms ($4), expecting it to be $18 before tax.
There was a $14 base charge that isn’t mentioned on the menu (see attached picture), so we were very surprised to be charged $32 for a small, average-tasting pizza.
I just ate the best filet I’ve ever had! I’m gluten intolerant and our server (Delanie) was knowledgeable and very pleasant. What a gem and a big surprise for a great meal after skiing at Created Butte. Getting back to my first statement…. I’ve eaten at Ruth’s Chris, Capital Grille, etc. and the filet I just had at Ol’ Miner was better. We also ordered an elk burger which was very good. Great ambiance.
The best bbq in Colorado, hands down! We drive from Salida (1 hr 20 min) for their ribs. They fall off the bone. And great bbq sauce served at the table that is also gluten free. Thanks 5Bs!
Six plus peeps for lunch and we had an easy short wait in line and easy short wait for food - slower might have been expectable on a busy Saturday afternoon, but speedy on both counts even with a steady stream of customers. Reasonably priced, fresh and DELICIOUS. The Cubano and Rueben sandwiches were big hits & everything gluten free was great too. We’ll be back!
This place is truly outstanding! I was super impressed by the zero cocktail list and gluten free basque cheesecake. This restaurant really has the acid/fat balance down on the dishes. Everything was fresh and creative. 👌🏽
So many great gluten free options! I had the Muscles, Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp, House Salad and Flourless Chocolate Torte. So yummy and great service (I think her name was Mariam??). When I am back in the area, I'll be sure to eat here again. Ate here during Covid times and our seating was outdoors. So cool of an atmosphere with the tents!!
