I have Celiac so unfortunately have to eat gluten free pizza crust. Most of the time it tastes like burnt cardboard... But the gluten free crust here is really good. My husband (who can eat gluten and sniffs out anything gluten free) commented on how you couldn't even tell it was gluten free....it was that good. We also got to sit outside with our dog. We were really pleased with our salad and pizza... So glad we stopped!

Loved this place. Excellent service - we really enjoyed Ivan as our waiter. The food was excellent. Good prices. Clean. We didn’t get a chance to go outside because of the weather but the outdoor space looked lovely. We had the chance of meeting the owner who was very kind and friendly. This was my first night at Izakaya, and I can't stress enough how thoughtful and delicious everything was. I'm gluten free and they offered a gluten free menu with FANTASTIC choices, and Tamari like it was not a big deal. Me and my (non GF) finance both had wonderful options, great drinks, thoughtful service, and the food was DELICIOUS. The kalabi short ribs, the sushi, the spicy edamami, and the fried rice were incredible, as was the hot pot. For Carbondale it's on the pricier side, but compared to Aspen (and Kenichi, it's sister restaurant in Aspen) it's 100% worth it.
