I waited 30+ minutes for a salad. I wanted to dine in but I wasted my whole lunch break and was not a happy camper. Apparently the grilled chicken skewers take 30 minutes to cook. I asked for the salad to go and a kind gentleman (maybe the manager?) told me next time to get the sliced gyro chicken and that it would be faster. He also offered me free baklava to try. I ordered the milk pudding as well, which was ok.
That being said... the chicken was delicious. Tender, juicy, great flavor. Only 3 pieces though, for $7. And the Greek salad was $13, which made it nearly $23 total after tax. This was not a $23 salad. Not even CLOSE.
I guess that's just to be expected in the area since it's across from the Chase Center. But I won't lie, I was pretty disappointed with the size of the dish and the time it took. I appreciated the baklava gesture but couldn't eat it (gluten), so I gave it to a co-worker.
4 stars because of yummy chicken and kind gesture from manager, but waaaaay overpriced.

As someone with coeliac disease, eating gluten free in SF isn’t as easy as everyone might think. Gott’s however are incredible. As soon as you mention GF, they’ll ask if it’s an allergy. They have GF buns, separate grills and fryers for GF allergen customers. The staff are very knowledgeable and all double check sauces in burgers etc. for GF allergens and recommend alternatives.
My husband also enjoys Gotts as he doesn’t need to compromise and also eat GF.

Found this place online and am a huge fan of farm to table type restaurants. The gardens outside of the huge bay view windows gives you insight as to where your lunch is coming from. The food tastes fresh and looks vibrant. They have a menu that accommodates vegan and gluten free visitors to the fullest. To top it all off. The beer is good.

This dining spot offers a gluten-free friendly menu with thoughtfully prepared dishes like a delicious burger served with a gluten-free onion ring, ensuring a satisfying experience for those avoiding gluten. The attentive and knowledgeable wait staff enhance the meal by guiding guests through gluten-free options, while the incredible desserts crafted by a dedicated pastry chef provide a sweet finish that caters to special dietary needs. Despite a less striking atmosphere, the combination of impeccable food quality and attentive service creates a comfortable and memorable dining experience for gluten-free diners.

Went to this restaurant for my mother’s 60th birthday and we had a fabulous time. The wait staff was out of this world so helpful, so funny, and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a variety of food from the tartar, soups, to salads! I had the burger, and although they didn’t have gluten-free bread, it had a gluten-free onion ring, which was quite delicious. The desserts were incredible. Their pastry chef truly worked hard, and they also gave a nice dessert for my mother for her birthday. The only reason for the low atmosphere is, I did not think it’s the most attractive looking restaurant the food and service made up for it!

So glad to see this former coffee shop which closed during the pandemic, reopened as the fourth “The Venue” in San Francisco. A great place to have breakfast, lunch, or a great cappuccino while waiting for an appointment at one of the many UCSF departments in the building. Try the gluten free bagels!
