We visited as a family today and the service was excellent. We had a very unhappy 8 year old, an indecisive teenager and a clumsy ten year old, yet nothing was too much trouble for the lady serving us (Maria). She totally saved our family meal by being patient, kind and understanding. She went out of her way to help. Being a gluten free vegan it’s very hard for me to eat out, was so pleased I could have three courses (they never happens!). The aubergine meat balls were excellent as was the plant based cheese cake. Thank you Zizzi at Whitstable - you were excellent. 😀

Carefully curated menu, great food. Amazing friendly staff who were lovely with my children. Accommodating and kind. Amazing gluten free menus including cake which was a real treat. Great decor. We will be back.

Always enjoy the yummy fresh fish and chips (gluten free option) and ambience here. Friend had barbecued prawn and soft crab tacos and said it was fab! Often queues so come early or wait. Seats and tables outside but may need to use QR codes during busy periods.

Gluten free level: expert. They have gluten free bread and they have special gluten free big fry up breakfast all day. I ate their gluten free halloumi salad with baked vegetables. It was nice and warm. It was a huge portion as well. It's definitely worth a visit if you want some definitely gluten free food. Disclosure: the place doesn't look fancy but the ladies at the counter were lovely. It is a good old fashioned breakfast and lunch coffee. Their prices are reasonable especially for Whitstable.
