I arrived at noon and was greeted warmly. The menus , of which there is plenty to read , has some fabulous choice. You will find something for whatever culinary mood you are in. During the week there is a special reduced price menu , Mon to Thursday and light bite menus also.
The whole of the dessert menu , bar 1 item was gluten free and this is a very rare thing.
My main meal was able to be adjusted to what I asked for to make gluten free and it did not disappoint... Steak and cheese club style sandwich and side salad and fries... Outstanding .
The dessert was the highlight .. the lady who produced the homemade sticky toffee pudding deserves a medal... That's the best gf pudding I have ever had since being diagnosed . .. so much so I kept questioning myself whether it was actually gluten free.... Amazing.. staff friendly and accommodating .
Facilities are clean tidy and as expected with everything else being so good.
Felt maybe coffees overpriced , for what it was , but suppliers costs etc have kept everything up . When your drink is nearly half the price of the meal , it's a tad on the expensive side.
Disabled parking right near the entrance and accommodated suitable seating with no issues . Was not rushed to finish and can't find fault.
See you again soon .
Came in for food with my family and the staff were lovely. Everyone was very accommodating for my husband who is gluten free, even having gluten free beer in bottles.
The food was lovely and the steak i had was cooked to perfection. We had our dog with us and the owner of the pub kept giving her treats and making sure she had water and was comfortable.
I would highly recommend this pub, and will be coming again soon.
Lovely pub always welcoming, and lovely staff who go the extra mile to make your experience positive and relaxing. Excellent food, im celiac so they have a wide variety of food im able to enjoy to.
Thankyou to all (especially Suey who took my order)
Loads of choice on menu and plenty of gluten free options. Very pleasant garden seating . Friendly staff. Not the cheapest but I thought overall was good value
Very disappointed my partner and I ordered dough balls. The only difference was mine were Dairy free and Gluten free this meant I was exceedingly disappointed when I received 5 dough balls and my partner got 8.
The size of the 2 pizzas was also upsetting!
My partners pizza was at least 50% bigger than mine.
Not on PIZZA EXPRESS!!
Not on PIZZA EXPRESS!!!
Yum yum yum!!!! So much choice and such high quality food. First time I've had a pie and well worth trying, fresh, crust perfectly cooked and accompanied by fresh vegetables. Other half stuck to his steak sword and enjoyed it again.
Gluten free aware, nice pate starters with gluten free bread. For the rest of us we shared starters and the pitta bread and humus is worth fighting over (not something you hear everyday).
Using a code and ordering and paying on-line is over complicated and feels cold towards the staff. Good food. No idea why a coeliac should be excluded from the buffet meal option (pizza, drink, salad, ice cream), even by swapping a buffet of pizzas for one single pizza.
Great meal, really helpful regarding dietary requirements. Loved the pizza deal - £8.99 for 12 inches...brilliant! Alex was helpful, chatty and provided great service. Could do with a few more gluten free options. Would highly recommend though 👌
The most amazing service by a young lady today whilst out on a trip with a gluten free friend, the menu for him was fantastic as gluten free menus are usually not that big /choice ,the portions are amazing and choice for everyone is catered for,I would highly recommend from walking in the door to leaving your treated wonderfully .The lamb pie wow and chunky chips best I have tasted ,and the gluten free fishcakes and chips was a great hit with a friend who finds most gluten free foods boring but these fish cakes he found amazing .

Jess, waitress with bright pink hair, was amazing. As a group of 7, three vegetarian and one gluten free, we were taken care of well. Good food, good cocktails and good atmosphere
Absolutely brilliant! Catered for my Gluten-free allergy. Really tasty, hand made base not the pre bought rubbish. And the lunchtime offer price of £5.95 for a 10" pizza is unbeatable. Thanks 👍👍👍
Lovely service, manager was super friendly and even gave us some extra broccoli as one of the ingredients from our salads had run out. Food was delicious with gluten free options available. The over all place was very clean and had a great atmosphere. I’ve not always had a good experience with Nando’s but this one’s definitely worth going to.
We visited today on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was full so we had booked a table in the bar. The waiting staff were efficient and friendly and as my partner has Coeliac disease the chef came to talk to her and take our order. Food was delicious and at a good price. Would thoroughly recommend....we will return
Great place for food. Lots of different dishes on the menu including smaller portions of, eg fish and chips as well as the large sized portions. Gluten free is well catered for. We sat in the gorgeous William Morris decor room (I love green). Excellent service from the waitresses.
A lovely, cosy, little café with lovely and helpful staff that are always about. Drinks were lovely with different milk choices and have a range of different food including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. There's also a little book swap area upstairs.
Great place to eat. We booked on Thursday lunchtime and intended to have soup and a sandwich to share but the soup wasn't our favourite so we had a sandwich each and shared. One was roast ham with mustard mayonnaise and the other was their fish finger butty. Both delicious. I hadn't planned on having a starter but couldn't resist the goats cheese with honey walnuts and a mustard dressing. Very nice and we want to go again for an evening meal. I also noticed they have a good selection of gluten free meals with a whole page of the menu dedicated to GF.
Bottomless brunch on new years eve. Jessica was serving us and provided the most exellent service. Such a lovely experience, the food was amazing and jessica really took the time to make sure everything was perfect! Anjali was always very helpful and friendly! Would definitely reccoend! Very accomomdating for my friend who is coeliac and myself as a vegetarian!
Honestly so good! We saw an A board out while shopping today and thank god we did. Went in for lunch, the lunch menu was £9.50 (with 50p supplement for Korean fried chicken!!!) and we both got Korean fried chicken for starters, and then beef bibimbap for main, with a side of takoyaki. Food was quick, great quality and so tasty. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!
Also, LOADS of gluten free options!
- Not much atmosphere because we didn't eat inside the restaurant.
Food was 4/5 because there was no gluten - free options for bread. (Still very good without bread)
- Service was the best I have ever received, he told me his name was Raj, I haven't ordered from here in a long time, but because of Raj I will order from here over and over again!
More staff like Raj and more gluten free options would make your business thrive
Checked out this chic spot to sample some of their signature freshly cooked, low calorie and low carb meals ~
We tried the following:
》Nachos | Baked nachos, cream cheese, salsa guacamole, melted cheese topping
》Beef Bao Buns | Steamed Japanese bao buns, onion, mixed leaf, tomato, teriyaki sauce, sesame seed
》Hawaiian Poke Bowl | Grilled salmon, rice, teriyaki sauce, edamame, mango, seaweed, cucumber, chilli, shredded carrot, corn, sesame seed
》Burmese Khow Suey | Burmese coconut curry, noodles, chilli garnish, onion flakes, tangy tomato salsa
》Chocolate Fudge Cake
》Berry Go Round Smoothie
The nachos and fluffy bao buns were so moreish, I couldn't recommend them enough.
The Burmese coconut curry had balanced flavours and perfectly cooked noodles. The vibrant poke bowl was delightful with freshness coming from the salmon as well as the other elements on it like the sweet mango, edamame, corn and crunchy cucumber.
The chocolate fudge cake was moist with just the right amount of sweetness.
All their menu items are under 500 calories and cater for people with health conditions like diabetes or coeliac. They only use natural ingredients - no preservatives, processed food or refined sugar.
Me and my husband still can't believe that all of the dishes we had were <500 calories, mind blown! Who says healthy meals can't be this tasty?!
Who knew that some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the world were in Preston, England?! And that they would have an amazing gluten free sourdough option. The All-Rise, the Eggs Benedict, the Avocado Toast. So so good. The Halloumi plate side and the potatoes are insane sides. The chili sauce on the halloumi is epic. The pesto and Parmesan on the potatoes, fire!
